Tribute shows can go either way. The Johnny Cash tribute was awsome, considering the harsh differences in bands (synth/noise, bitch punk, psychobilly, folk), as long as the show isn't a series of bad impersonations they can be great. I was blown away when Gashly crumb did waits' 'Telephon Call From istanbul', even if the singer did have to read the lyrics every second verse. - Tue, 17 Jun 2003 12:10am | ||
