moron User Info... | Why not go to the Pro Tools site and download the free version? http://www.protools.com/ptfree/ moron http://industrial.org http://deterrent.net - Fri, 8 Nov 2002 9:31pm
Gibson | thanks moron, i realize they have demos, that is what i've been playing with. but i need a version that enables me to save the work i do. - Fri, 8 Nov 2002 10:26pm
moron User Info... | I am not talking about a demo. They have hada free version with limited tracks for a year or two now. I think the main difference is that all processing is via the processor instead of hardware which affects how many tracks it can support. It is free though and useable (from what I have heard). - Fri, 8 Nov 2002 10:28pm
Gibson | yes thank you again moron, the free Protools limits you to 8 tracks and 3m20s songs, plus other limitations. Cubase doesn't allow you to save your work. i would like full working versions if some one has them. also some input on other types of programs in this area of recording would be nice. - Sat, 9 Nov 2002 4:36pm
laprider | use neither I would suggest an easily found crack of pro logic audio platinum - Sat, 9 Nov 2002 5:09pm
Ego | I would suggest Kazaa.com for all your audio software needs. Or Limewire for Mac. - Sat, 9 Nov 2002 6:08pm
Robnoxious User Info... | I found a free windows xp compatable recording studio program at downloads.com called Anvil studio. I haven't got that far into it yet but it seemed to be a similar program to Cubasis my friend was gonna hook me up with but unfortunately it wasn't xp compatable. I'm not sure if it's Mac compatable but try the search for Mac programs and you might find some free goodies. - Sat, 9 Nov 2002 6:42pm
Gibson | limewire is horribly slow , i've been trying to download above programs for about aweek now and have had no luck. that is why i'm asking for assistance here , if you have downloaded these MAC programs or own them i will make it worth your while to copy them for me. thanx i use imesh for the PC downloads and it works the best out of all i've ever tried. i already have these programs on my PC it took one night of downloading and i had all the programs i would want. try it out .... http://www.imesh.com..... - Mon, 11 Nov 2002 3:21pm
