Message Board > General Chitchat > Ariel Sharon; Quite possibly the evilest man alive? |
Warmonger | Quite possibly. - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 12:39am
METALHEAD!% | I always thought it was Raffi. Him and Ann Murray have to be up to something. Hippos in the bathtub? Happy children songs? Thats some seriously scary shit I tell you. No one is that happy sober, no one. - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 12:45am
Anonymous | Arafat is worse. What a joke of a leader. Listening to him ramble is enough to make one puke. I dont blame the Israelis for not wanting to let him run a palestinian state. - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 1:03am
A*Funk | Of course the problem, anon, is that its not up to the Israeli people to decide... in a democracy (and I believe thats what we're encouraging here) its the governed that decides who is to govern, not an occupying army. And Arafat, despite his (Many, Many) flaws, consistently wins the presidential elections there. but why the fuck did we start this thread, anyhow? Wouldn't anyone prefer to debate the merits of Family Guy over the Simpsons? - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 1:59am
jay brown User Info... | So he's evil for fighting for what he believes is right? It's real easy to judge when you havent had to live his life. - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 2:05am
Anonymous | When has there ever been an election in Palestine? Arafat is a terrorist, not a believer in democracy. Isreal just released the longest serving palestinian prisioner, convicted of murdering scores of innocent people. Who did he go see immediatly upon being released? ARAFAT. If you believe Arafat actually has a legal mandate from the palestinian people, then I'm sorry my friend, but you've got your head up your ass. - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 3:44am
Gman | The Simpson's uses classic methods of comedy, slapstick, double ententres, etc. where Family Guy is much more bombastic and 'in-your-face'. I enjoy both, so let's not get into a fight here. Gman - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 8:21am
Anonymous | I think the baby in Family Guy" would be much funnier if everyone on the show couldn't understand him and only we the viewing audience would have insight into his evil little thoughts. - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 9:19am
some girl... | Just b/c a person wins in the poles, that doesn't necessarly mean that he was supported by the people... Germany also had "democracy" and "free votes" in the '30s. Hitler didn't totally legitimately rise to power by democracy alone. What helped him was banning every other party, having "helpers" run the poles, bribes etc etc... hmmm... remember how Bush Jr. got in power? Yah, I'm sure that he 'had' to recount the votes in Florida. How convenient. Look at our country: you can win a majority of votes and still not be prime minister b/c you didn't win enough seat representation (remember Jean Cheret should of won in mid-nineties)... - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 10:56am
Gman | When The Family Guy first came on, I assumed that no one *could* hear the baby's voice. I think one of my favoritest ones is where they set up a bar in the basement. Ha ha ha! Gman - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 11:48am
METALHAD!% | The Simpsons is the superior show in my opinion, but the Family Guy comes in a close second. My favorite episode of the FG was when they started the daycare and all the children were of different ethnic origins and they all argued what race Santa was. "Santa can't be chinese, he doesn't drive his sleigh 20 miles under the speed limit with his right blnker on" Ahhh priceless. - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 12:15pm
No Suprises | Israel was built through the use of terrorism. Palestinians have adopted the same model, but the people of the Nation and Arafat have failed to succesfully employ the use of those tactics. Neither of these nations is/was built upon Democracy and neither has evolved through the systematic use of Democracy. So, who is guilty of using non-Democratic and terror based tactics to further their Nation's goals? They both are. The most important difference between them is that one of the Nations is backed by the most Financially powerfull, Media capable and Militarily Industrious nation in the world. I'm glad I'm Irish; we're such a mellow bunch :>. - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 12:54pm
ML7Mike | I love the photos of Ariel Sharon as a young soldier standing over the bodies of dead bloody Palestinians, with a big smile on his face and his gun in hand. Then they go on to applaud his work as a colonel in in the Israeli Army, and how he led so many succesful campaigns into the Palestinian territories. He also helped slaughter alot of palestinians in various refuge camps over the years. Then when he left the military and joined the cabinet, he was in charge of the settlements, and he actually was a strong supporter of the theory that more Israeli settlements would strengthen Israels influence in the area. The current state of war between the countries escalated when Sharon came into power. When Rabin was in power the peace process was moving ahead. The plan would have probably already been in place if Rabin hadnt been assasinated by a fundamentalist Jewish militant. 5 Years later Sharon takes over, and in the same bloodthristy manner that he used to slaughter 1000's of innocent palestinians, he starts it all up again with incursions into the West Bank, the demolition of Arafats HQ, the incursions into the camps, the dead civilians, all of which just piss the freedom fighters off even more so. Put yourselves into the shoes of the average Palestinian. With a madman like this on your doorstep with his vastly superior military power, where would one turn? there is no hope in life when under siege, and the hatred boils deep. Its no wonder there are so many suicide bombings. Israel needs to dissolve the settlements, and define a fair border with the Palestinians. Its the only solution. But all these psycho jews insist that they are god's people and that the land belongs to them. Blame it ALL on religion. - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 12:56pm
METALHEAD!% | Now, I am not a satanist, but I really am on his side on this one. If there is a satan and a god, who is the worst. now I could bring up many factors for both, but lets face it boys and girls, how many people have died in the name of Satan? A couple thousand at MOST. How many countless millions have died in the name of God? How many people have been massacred, tortured, mutilated, sacrificed, raped, etc, all because of God? All the real fun stuff comes from Satan, you know, sex, drugs, alcohol, metal, violence, swearing, cheating on your girlfriend with her sister, etc. God brings us love. god loves us sooo much that we get to burn in flames for all eternity because we jacked off to the thought of our neighbors wife. God loves us sooo much that we get to starve, we get diseases, we get martyrs. God loves us sooo fucking much he wants us to give all our money to make churches richer. Who is the real Evil guy? Sure Satan has done some bad stuff, but it pales in comparison to the horrors god unleashes upon us. Maybe Satan does the little bad things to us so that we can learn not to be as truely evil as God. Satan isn't evil, he is just misunderstood. - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 1:27pm
Jonathan | HAHAHAHAHA! I can't believe a metal and punk music message board is trying to go political. HAHAHAHAHA! - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 1:30pm
ML7Mike | Really like wow, punlkers and metalheads with something to say about politics.. who'd have ever thought.. is it a new trend? - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 1:48pm
Gman | I think that *some* of the episodes of the Simpsons are better than the Family Guy generally is, but I sometimes find the Simpsons' tendancy to go for the sappy side of things a little too much. Although the episode where Bart and Lisa are on opposing hockey teams makes me cry at the end where they drop the game and hug. I'm tearing up just thinking about it. Of course, the Family Guy has no time for this sentimental mush. Gman - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 2:37pm
some girl... | hey no surprises: Irish are mellow? I assume you threw that in to make us all laugh. - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 2:56pm
some girl... | P.S. What are you talking about Metalhead? It's not God/satan who keep fucking up, it's all us refusing to take personal responsibility for our lame-ass actions. Don't go blaming religion: you can say you're of such and such religion but talk is cheap. It's a person's actions that tell us what they TRULY are. - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 2:59pm
KnifeGhost User Info... | Family Guy can blow itself.... Much like Sharon... And, as much of a joke as Arafat's peace prize was/is, he still deserves it more than Kissinger..... - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 3:09pm
A*Funk | ... you DIDN'T just say that about Family Guy!!!! - Fri, 6 Jun 2003 2:59am
KnifeGhost User Info... | Let me check.... Hey, yeah, it turns out I did.... - Fri, 6 Jun 2003 4:27am
METALHEAD!% | It was just a rant and rave. Meant to be funny, it is a common thing for me and my metal buddies to get accused of being satanists. We think it is hilarious and in drunken stuper we started to assess the actual "evilness" of satan. I like making fun of organized religion. It has become kind of a hobby. - Fri, 6 Jun 2003 3:16pm
No Surprises | Hey some girl - No, I threw that in there to get a response from a hot, hooch drinking girl, with big pancake nipples, and a freshly shorn beaver; like yourself. Am I turning you on? I thought so. Maybe we should hook up sometime so I can drizzle ice cold Guiness on your pussy. - Fri, 6 Jun 2003 6:58pm
No Surprises | Sorry...Satan made me say that. - Fri, 6 Jun 2003 7:10pm
some girl... | Hey "No Surprises", my boyfriend already does all that shit. I just get sensitive when religion bashing arises, just like I get sensitive w/ gay bashing. Metalhead: I wasn't actually freaking out: I still appreciate the poem you wrote for me! (hheee hee) - Mon, 9 Jun 2003 11:23am
METALHEAD!% | Yeah some girl, the age old redneck cliche: Guns don't kill people, I do. This could be applied to religion. I never saw god murder masses in his name, but then again I have never seen him stop the massacres in his name. - Mon, 9 Jun 2003 11:45am
Gman | Listen, we've all got our Simpsons .vs. The Family Guy opinions, but please, let's not have it tear us all apart! Gman PS: Palestine and Israel: Shit happens. Unless you plan on moving your cozy European ass out of your house and giving it to the 'natives' you should STFU, hypocrite. Only tyrants and lunatics want to keep killing people and both sides have done their parts here, thanks. - Mon, 9 Jun 2003 3:51pm
