Der | I say they're just wankers. - Fri, 30 May 2003 10:52pm
Anonymous | its official.....wankers - Fri, 30 May 2003 11:40pm
Turnpike | No, Not total wankers - I can appreciate a good scratch thrown into the mix from someone like Mix Master Mike. However, 99.999 percent of DJ's are glorified human record players and are therefore, wankers. Why pay to see a show where some chrome beaded necklace wearing dude in a retro golf shirt and aviators changes records? Oh of course...because he can fade two records in and out simultaneously and he can repeat certain portions of the record. I probably just don't get it. - Sat, 31 May 2003 3:10am
old vinyl rules | Never buy a record from a "DJ". It will be fucked because his turntable is probably fucked because I've yet to meet one that knows how to set up a turntable or change a needle. - Sat, 31 May 2003 1:30pm
Anonymous | what about limp bizkit? THEY RULE! - Sat, 31 May 2003 1:49pm
Anonymous | 80% wankers. a small percentage of them have talent. What I hate are people who try to claim to me that spinners have actual talent.. NOT. I mean, sure they know their gear, and they have a great memory for pulling tracks off their vinyl, but the actual technique of it really lacks talent. Spend a few months learning the gear, twisting knobs, and within a year or two you'll be really good at it. A smart monkey could probably be trained to do it. The real talent in a DJ is how he interacts with the crowd, as an entertainer of the people. .not in his ripped off tracks and his big knobby board. - Sat, 31 May 2003 2:56pm
Anonymous | Oh, and I might add that this is a good indication of how simple people are entertained by simple methods. Goes to show how TV and PopTarts have influenced our kids into loving talentless crap ( ie: top 40, rave music, etc ) - Sat, 31 May 2003 2:59pm
DJ Dude | Hey, I'm a DJ and I tell you what. I take the crap you musicians make as raw material and make it sound better. You guys make the clay, I make a pot out of it. So there...... - Sat, 31 May 2003 6:49pm
Slouch | DON'T TOUCH MY CLAY!!!! - Sat, 31 May 2003 10:29pm
