BBJones User Info... | Remember Grump? Whether you do or don't doesn't matter much, but on this page you can find all of their tunes in MP3 format. Enjoy! http://www.bozobits.com/grump - Thu, 22 May 2003 4:22pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Awesome, another demo found for the Victoria Demo project, but why use VBR?!? - Thu, 22 May 2003 4:59pm
BBJones User Info... | VBR? Very Big Rack? What? - Thu, 22 May 2003 5:05pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Oops, I should explain. VBR stands for Variable Bitrate, so rather then the MP3 playing at the same bitrate (eg. 192 kbps), the bitrate changes depending on highs and lows associated with the song being played (confused you yet?). - Thu, 22 May 2003 5:13pm
BBJones User Info... | Nope I get it. I just didn't bother trying to optimize anything :) - Thu, 22 May 2003 5:17pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Heh... yeah, I'll probably re-edit the MP3s, cause of that nasty chunk/white noise at the end of each track, great sound though, you pull that from analog/2 track tape? - Thu, 22 May 2003 5:22pm
BBJones User Info... | No I recall it all being done on 1/4 inch tape. Anyone remember Bert at the studio in Fernwood? I forget what the studio was called, but Bert worked at Ward Music I think. It was a while ago now :) The Kings Make demo came out with some pretty sweet sound, but Bert was pretty motivated as he did the recording for free for us since he like it so much. It was kinda funny since I remember him saying the golden line to us... "whatever you do, don't break up!" ;) I've kinda taken that as a pretty important rule for trying to ever make it as a band. First requirement: Stay together. Bandmates leaving spells doom! - Thu, 22 May 2003 5:29pm
