Savvie User Info... | Howdy, I posted an add in looking for shows as well, but I thought I'd do some general reseach myself to perhaps book my own night - I know of Logan's and Lucky's, are there any other venues I should know about? One that can stand a full band, roots-rock-ish, although we could tone it down a bit for a smaller venue. Thanks for your help! (and Like I mentioned in my other post, if you'd like any help with Vancouver booking in return just ask! - Wed, 17 Sep 2008 6:44pm
Tyler User Info... | there are always options for smaller venues. I'm sure you could work out a deal with local coffee shops if you want to take that route. some smaller all-ages venues are: little fernwood (part of the fernwood community center) banihayan cultural center (might have spelled that wrong. super ghetto place.) camas anarchist book and infoshop the sunset room con brio music bigger all ages venues: james bay community center gym victoria events center big fernwood pandora project open space not in use anymore: orange hall gary / garry oak room things are always changing, depending on which new venues cordell and friends have shut down and scared away. also look at the past shows played by others in victoria to get an idea. just search for a band name and hit "past shows" to check that. - Thu, 18 Sep 2008 9:56am
Bryan User Info... | lol, it's all about how Cordell is still being slagged on after after what has to have been at least a year of not putting shows on... - Thu, 18 Sep 2008 1:13pm
Haden User Info... | You can also try the Solstice Cafe and Spiral Cafe. Black Stilt Coffee Shop. The Cambie (in Esquimalt, not Nanaimo). I think all of their contact info is online in various places (myspace, facebook, own webpages etc.) - Thu, 18 Sep 2008 2:11pm
