| Aaargh! User Info... |  Submitting buttons for the show is simple - go to http://www.OlioCooperative.ca and grab the template, place your button images in the template following the guidelines & e-mail it back. We'll press a copy of each button for the show & another for the artist. We’ll be displaying some newer poster works from artists that really make the medium exciting & revisiting older posters that encapsulated early Canadian punk with cut & paste, carbon-copy precision. We’ll be recreating some older prints as large format screen printed pieces (Dead Kennedy's '86 as a 3 colour 18x24 print) & Bob Masse himself has loaned us 8 pieces from his personal collection, entailing Victoria shows from as far back as the Doors in '67. The button exhibit will be comprised of artists & designers from far & wide, each invited to submit up to 6 designs, in either 1” or 1.5” format. The unique creations will be on exhibition throughout the three days of Live!Stock, where they will then go on sale Sunday afternoon at 6:00 pm for $2 each. The show runs in conjunction with Rifflandia, throughout labour day weekend. Worls will be viewable Aug 29-31st from 2:00-8:00pm daily, with the pin sale party & Main viewing happening Sunday at 6:00pm. Live!Stock is proudly presented by the OLiO Artists & Workers Cooperative & will be a benefit for their publicly accessible screen printing equipment, inks, chemicals, stocks and supplies, buttons making presses & parts, and common working space for cooperative members. The cooperative is strongly dedicated to making mediums such as screen printing more accessible to artists who may not want a pressure washer & industrial sink in their apartment. | Special Agent Jackass User Info... | As I understand it they'll be up until a closing party tomorrow night (Sat Sept. 6th - 6:00pm - ?) at the ol' Project on Fisgard.
