| Curmudgeon Rocker User Info... | For June - 1 - Unfurnished bedroom in house with three roommates on north Shelbourne near Arbordale. Cable and internet access in your bedroom. w/d. Share use of kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. Five min. drive/ten min. bus-ride to UVIC. Bus stop is two houses away. Cool tiered garden - terraced by rock walls - leads up to the front entrance. House is surrounded by trees and set far back from the road. Very quiet - you'll forget smetimes you're on Shelbourne. Ten minute walk to Mt. Doug and beach access. NS/NP in a house of clean freaks. International students welcome. ¼ house bills. N-O P-E-T-S. Doug 589-7847 also - I play in a band that practices in a room directly underneath the bedroom that is available. These practices are only ONCE a week, on Fridays, usually from 8:30 to 11:00 pm. We almost never go past 11. We’re barely hearable outside the house, but in your (putative) bedroom, you'll hear us from below. It’ll be only two and a half hours of frequency turbulence out of your week. Sorry – rehearsal space is out of bounds. We are also clean freaks - I'm talking NO dirty dishes laying around WHATSOEVER, not ONE HAIR in the bathroom sink, no clutter ANYWHERE - that kinda thing. Scents are also unwelcome, unless if it’s the MILDEST perfume/cologne in the world. No incense – that’s for shit sure. We have an oil bill twice each winter – once in late September, and again in mid-January. It’ll cost AT LEAST $1,200 to fill the tank each time, so, with two tank fillings, and four roommates, you’re looking at an additional $600 MINIMUM per year for oil. (that’s IF you’re here from Sept. – Apr.) (or $50/month that I can hold onto - or you can responsibly put aside - until bill time) We’re light pot smokers. Mike: small amounts of sporadic pot smoke, especially smoked through the ever-lovin vapourizer, dissipate in no time in the (pretty fair-sized) livingroom. And like I stated in the post, if it's mild, it's ok.
