A pretty far cry from naslund's 104 point, second place overall standing, with 48 goals and 56 assists. Not just that but Bertuzzi is ranked fifth overall with 97 points, 46 goals 51 assists. Yes St.loius has been a pain in the ass, I was at the game in vancouver that led to a 4-4 tie. but with one player in the top ten; pavol dimitra ranked 6th with 93 points, 36 goals 57 assists, and their next best offencive weapon - al mcinnis 33rd overall with 68 points, my moneys on the canucks. Canucks DOMINATED since the first month of the season, and havent stopped dominating since. Why? CLOUTIER, NASLUND, BERTUZZI, MORRISSON, JOVANOVSKI, COOKE, SEDINS, KLATT, LINDEN, shall I keep it up? Edmonton had ONE killer player and they TRADED him for some chumpass's. Canucks first line are considered THE BEST LINE in the NHL this year by every commentator and coach in the league. Because even though (s)he has apparently NEVER lived in Edmonton (or I'm guessing Alberta) they cheer for the Oilers - 'cause they've won 5 Stanley cups (the last one being 13 over years ago!!). I have NO respect for bandwagoners like that 'cause it shows a lack of character. I respect ANY fan of ANY team who has the character to stick with their team through the good and bad times. We can do so at Thursday's on April 24th or at Brentwood on April 19 (gratuitous plugs). At that point you can tell me to my face what you think of me and my opinions. One more thing, I'm going in with little or no expectations for my Oilers. I'd love for them to win, but unfortunately don't think they will. As for you and SLH, if there's one thing that proves you are loser fans, it's this. You are probably just going against the tide. Not because you like the oilslicks, but because you hate the canucks! It's like being a Boston fan while living in Montreal. Fuck, is your kind iritating! The oilslicks haven't had a Stanely Cup team since their last cup win! On the other hand, the canucks have so much strength, it isn't funny. 3 great scoring lines and a forth that can get the job done as well. Thanks TPBJ for pointing all of that out, I won't have to type in all of the winners that we have!!! All the records that they held!!! (For most of the fuckin season, I might add) You're foolish if you think that the nucks are going to roll over (especially in the first round) to anyone! They want it more than anyone else out there! I am a hockey fan period and will always cheer for any Canadian team, but TPBJ has got it right, I tire of listening to oilslick fans dis other teams. As specially other Canadian teams! Even more importantly, a team that shares borders with us! Win or lose, I stand by my canuckleheads! They gave us a great season and soo much great hockey, with little change to their lineup. | beazlbub | ive been a fan of the knucklheads for about 8 yrs now and sometimes i just wanna throw in the towel and give up on em but thats not my style so i just sit there and suffer every year when they blow it .this year has been a good year for em with a few exceptions they have done a pretty decent job even though they still seem to get beat by wimp teams and then they crush the good ones so maybe they can take out the blues (lets hope so) i have to laugh when teams like new york get all these high priced players and cant even make it to the playoffs so the knucklheads must be doin somethin right.ottawa is gonna be tough to beat but i would love to see an upset this year anyways that it for now so have a good one and see ya (b) online - Wed, 9 Apr 2003 7:22pm | ||
