| RSBF User Info... | i see that Gladyss Patches shall be gracing the Island again up in Nanaimo at Dizzy's Fri April 4th and due to the fact that SoundGarden is 'on hold' i'm actually going to make the trip up to see them again. we played with them at SG Dec 7th and i couldn't believe how awesome these guys were. they have some great radio coverage in the USA and have toured a few times down there. i could see this band making it big and i'm just spouting off here cause i think they deserve a few words and a plug to their site http://www.gladysspatches.com - they were such nice people and very supportive of Victoria bands. (on a side note: Cam, if you read this please be doin' your cover of Come Undone!!!) would be cool to see some Vic'ers up there at Dizzy's with us - there will be 2 other bands that night as well. Clyde and Jason of BME are getting some cool stuff going at Dizzy's - i'm impressed. hopefully they'll work a little on their promo but it's a great place for Vic bands to play out of town - kick ass sound, nice nice stage, and a cool little bar all'round. too bad Koark won't be up there with them : ( and where is Noise Therapy these days? - Tue, 25 Mar 2003 10:03am | ||

| RSBF User Info... | a band called The Lady Esther is going to be playing this Friday as well (I also see Dizzy's is doing all-ages shows too and GP and TLE will be playing a Saturday all-ager there in addition to Friday's bar show) - samples are available on LiveVic for The Lady Esther and do they ever sound great!
