Anonymous | All of you don't have a clue about what your talking about, where did you get your sources??? if you say "uhhh...TV",you are absent-minded.Do you know for a FACT that US is going into Iraq to save the people,I didn't think so. - Thu, 20 Mar 2003 4:59pm
Who's right? | I don't think anybody really KNOWS the truth. People speculate, based upon rumour, innuendo, facts(?) from different news sources, etc. Even CNN is speculating most of the time to fill air time. Haven't you seen them back-track when they get something totally ass backwards? They are so hung up right now on "Is it Saddam? - I've never seen him wearing glasses before - Where is the birthmark near his ear? - Is he dead? - Is he alive? - Is this a pre-taped message?". I even heard one reporter say that maybe Saddam taped a whole bunch of messages with different dates so they could be played incase he died! It gets kinda pathetic! History is being written - but who is writing it?These "Embedded" reporters right in there up to the eyeballs with the troops probably have a better handle on the truth than most - but only from their limited perspective. When the attacks first started even these same troops heard about it on the news! There's no use getting into arguments or putdowns over what is what. It's just a waiting game - then the facts will come out - or will they? - Thu, 20 Mar 2003 11:13pm
Matt D. User Info... | I totally agree with you (whom posted before me).... there really is no point in arguing who's right or wrong. But has anyone noticed how CNN has been reporting the war like it's a sports broadcast, giving the "play by play"? I heard some reporter describing the tanks like they were new toys to play with, and described the transpiring events as "exciting." Jesus, that scares the shit out of me. Then recently, probably from outraged callers, they started saying something like, "Please realise that this is war and is a grave business blah blah" as if they were reminding children that infact the war is not a game. That's far worse in my opinion on how they backtrack on facts they release, which is to be expected, since no one knows what the fuck is going on everywhere in Iraq. - Thu, 20 Mar 2003 11:35pm
