| jay brown User Info... | So the Hoosegow has been planning our tour of the states for about four months now. Were supposed to leave in four weeks, and they wont let us over the border now because of all the shit thats going on. So now that we've bought all our shirts and other merchandise for the tour, a few grand out of our pockets. Booked three weeks off of work for the tour. Were not going, and were looking for options. We want to go across canada instead. We just got the word this morning, and now it's time to scramble and try to get shows booked fast.So far we've got victoria april the 18th, and vancouver april the 19th. Thats where the tour turned into the states. If you have any contacts that could help us out, for shows, bars, all ages, even a fucking house party. We just need to make gas money to the next shows, and maybe have a couch to crash on. Damnit we've worked too hard on this to kiss off the whole thing. | Ty Stranglehold User Info... | The problem is the war starting up. By all reports, the borders are basicaly shutting down. The fake recording letter was going to be method, but in order for that to work, we would have to send our merch down ahead of time(no one goes to record with 200 shirts in the van). The risk of sending our stuff down and getting denied is too great at this point. This is really frustrating as a lot of work has gone into getting it going, but what the fuck are ya gonna do? | Anonymous | I doubt you're gonna have a whole lot of success booking a cross canada tour in 3 weeks. Bands I know that are heading out on tour mid-April have been booking for months now. I guess you could always try to be "that band" that tries to jump on everybody else's shows though. That's not a good way to go because you'll get shorted on the cash. Been there. Sucks.
