Es f�llt mir sehr schwer etwas �ber Platten zu sagen, von denen man nach 10 Sekunden eh schon wei� um was es sich handelt. So auch bei dieser 6�Song Ep der Kanadier von Moneyshot Denn hier handelt es sich um tausendmal zuvor geh�rten, nichts sagenden Melodiecore der Mittelklasse, mit haupts�chlich Funpunk Texten. Hin und wieder ist auch mal ein pers�nliches Statement im Textgut zu finden, doch das ist mindestens genauso verbraucht und zur Gen�ge ausgereizt. Am Schlimmsten ist aber immer noch der Song �Blades of Steel�. Eingefleischte Gameboy�Fans wissen worum sich der Inhalt eigentlich nur drehen kann. Richtig�um Eishockey. Und dass die Kanadier gro�e Anh�nger dieses Sports sind wissen wir auch, aber muss es wirklich sein, dass uns Moneyshot ihre erdachte Eishockey�Karriere, die mit Invalidit�t endet, in Form eines lahmen midtempo G�hners auftischen??? G�hn�. Sei es wie es ist. Anh�nger des Fatwreck Stalls werden die Ep wohl trotzdem guthei�en k�nnen, aber wenn es schon Melodiecore sein muss, dann greife ich lieber zu den Originalen. - Mon, 17 Mar 2003 12:44am | ||
