jodi User Info... | SO basically, this morning, some fabulous human being broke into my van, hit my roomate's car with it, and took off with my gear in the back. A "midnight blue" (okay, purple) Fender Jazz, few years old and most importantly An 8x10 Ampeg Cabinet Awesome. Also the van was a beautiful '82 Ford Econo van, white, rust detailing by the exhaust, lovely purple and torquoise graphic on the side, covered in stickers inside. It's hard to mistake. Lemme know if you see or hear anything. I'm so bummed. Jodi 727-8086 - Sun, 16 Dec 2007 5:57pm

trevor corey User Info... | What kind of desperado steals a '82 Ford Econo van? When I was a kid in Montreal, we only stole Acuras. It's always a good idea to have insurance. A twenty five dollar/month home policy would easily cover your losses. Good luck anyways. Merry Christmas! - Sun, 16 Dec 2007 8:44pm

Meantime Mike User Info... | 'It's always a good idea to have insurance. A twenty five dollar/month home policy would easily cover your losses.' There are some weird stipulations when it comes to music gear in vehicles. Alot of home insurance companies wont go near it. - Mon, 17 Dec 2007 10:38am

hadenca User Info... | "'It's always a good idea to have insurance. A twenty five dollar/month home policy would easily cover your losses" Only thing is people who live with more than one person who isn't related to them can't get insurance. Insure your gear. We deal with a company that used to be called Unity Insurance out of Ontario. They are awesome to deal with and have had no problems with them over the years. We had our van broken into in Vancouver while playing a show a few weeks back. Fortunately we were playing a show and basically all of our gear was in the venue. The only things we lost were two bags containing personal items and one gear bag (mine) that had some cords, a preamp, microphone, and various other little things in it. ICBC doesn't cover it. And lo and behold, I spent three weeks back in March trying to get insurance for the house (tenants insurance) but was turned down by the lot of em. I hope you get your stuff back. I hate thieves with a passion. If anything gets my goat..... - Fri, 21 Dec 2007 4:59pm Edited: Fri, 21 Dec 2007 5:00pm
