Doc User Info... | For rye I like Wisers and Crown. For Scotch I like Oban 18 yr special reserve and Glen Allan 25 yr. For Irish Whiskey I like Bushmills Special 20yr. ~Could I get that drink Gordon Campbell sized please? Doc P.S. Gentleman Jack bourbon by Jack Daniels distillery is pretty good too if you happen to be a fan of bourbon. - Thu, 6 Dec 2007 9:47pm
moron User Info... | Isn't saying you like Wiser's (or rye period) akin to saying you like Budweiser? Seconded on the Oban. Huge fan of Maker's Mark bourbon. Hard to get in Victoria for some stupid reason. Cheers - Thu, 6 Dec 2007 10:31pm
trevor corey User Info... | I don't know if I've had my favorite yet. It would be nice to go to Scotland and do a tour of small distilleries. I keep missing those festivals. Maybe someone could post the next one in the "Up and Coming" section? I keep a big 1.14 litre bottle of 15 year old Glenfiddich around for when company comes over. I also have a bottle of 23 year old, 61.9% Glenugie I keep with the porn, organic tobacco and hash stash, mostly just for me. I know this Oban of which you speak. Nice and peaty, the LSD of single malt. I get a little high just off the fumes. - Thu, 6 Dec 2007 11:03pm Edited: Thu, 6 Dec 2007 11:03pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | The only downside to the head injury, you can't drink as much as you used to be able to, but one thing I haven't tried yet is anything single-malted, but I now drink Jack Daniels w/Coke chaser (Black Tooth Grin), I even found that putting Absolute Vodka in a freezer makes it taste invisible, perfect for mixing it with juice in a sleeve. - Thu, 6 Dec 2007 11:59pm Edited: Thu, 6 Dec 2007 11:59pm

Ching User Info... | I got a bottle of Jonnie Walker Green label last year on St Patties Day. It is as good as some single malts. You should check it out. The one i drink these days is Macallans 10 year? aged in sherry casks it is smooth & tasty. Ardbeg is in my cabinet recomended by a friend. It is the peatyest thing I have ever tasted. I dont drink it often. JD & Knob Creek are good Bourbons as far as I am concerned. Ahh whiskey..... - Fri, 7 Dec 2007 7:38am
