| kasper User Info... |  As many of you have heard, there was an unfortunate incident at our community centre a couple of weeks ago where violence/assault occurred. Since the incident, we have had to put our all ages shows on hold, for obvious reasons. But we have spoken with many local promoters and musicians who are interested in discussing the issue. As a community centre, one of our mandates is to provide services, programs, and facilities to the community at an affordable cost. Another of our mandates is to keep our patrons safe within these services, programs, and facilities. And so, we will be holding a meeting on Tuesday, November 20 at 5:30pm in the multi-purpose room at the community centre (1240 Gladstone). The goal will be to brainstorm ways that we can continue hosting all ages shows, and topics will include security, alcohol, responsibility of the renter, responsibility of the centre, etc. If you are interested in attending this meeting and would like to email me an agenda item in advance, feel free to do so.
