Message Board > General Chitchat > microphone etc. repair?? |
k8 User Info... | so i have a couple broken microphones and an old school four track that i would like to get repaired that won't cost me an arm an a leg. the mics only cost me ~$80 and i got the four track for free so i'm hoping that they won't cost me more than i paid to get them fixed. anyone know where i should head and how much i'm looking to spend on getting this equipment repaired?? thanks!! - Thu, 4 Oct 2007 2:35pm
Mi*coll* User Info... | i would suggest that repairing a shitty microphone is likely not worth the money. it would probably be preferable financially just to buy new cheap condensers (depending on what you are recording... assuming that this is indeed for recording). i would recommend the Studio Projects B1 for $130. superslacks User Info... | Maybe post more info (makes, models, nature of the problems) - you might get more useful responses. FYI If it's a cassette 4-track you might as well throw it out. - Wed, 17 Oct 2007 4:49pm
