| RSBF | Fred Rogers, who gently invited millions of children to be his neighbor as host of the public television show "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" for more than 30 years, died of cancer early Thursday. He was 74. Rogers died at his Pittsburgh home, said family spokesman David Newell, who played Mr. McFeely on the show. | Anonymous | He was creepy. I always thought Mr Rogers was for retarded kids cuz he talked so slow - as a little kid I was amazed at how they had a whole show strictly for retarded kids. I have a friend who was convinced that he was a pedophile BECAUSE a girl he knew was hooking down south at age 13 and swore Mr Rogers picked her up. He believed her - and he wasn't the naive type. | Anonymous | No Wreaker, I didn't watch it day after day. I don't think I ever watched even a full episode - or even more than a minute or two at a time when I did try to give it a chance. Like I said, I thought he was creepy and I thought it was for retarded kids. No shit. And I was a really little kid at the time! WHY DID HE HAVE TO TALK SO SLOW???!
