| Krystal Koffin User Info... | OH yes this is true! There is one catch, if I have a bar full of metal heads and people that like underground music, thats sweet and all will be good times. If I have a bar full of people asking me for Linkin Park well , I have to go the way of the crowd. So for the sake of true metal and the fact that I really really don't want to have to play lame stuff, come and support it and it will be there. Lets take back Evo for the metal scene. | Endeløs User Info... | Didn't Lew AKA "Dodds Anger" try a "true" metal night at Logans a few years back and it failed? I really hope it works this time. If I've one complaint about the old "metal mondays" at Evo, it was the shit music they tried to pass of as said genre. Unfortunatly there's a lot of dorks in this town that think metal begins with AC/DC and ends with Deftones. | Krystal Koffin User Info... |  1. I play more then one mixed burned CD in a night and not the same one each week. 2. I actually know what I am playing when someone asks me. 3. I will be able to play requests, since I will think to bring all my music and have a very extencive play list that has taken me years to gather. Lew only owns 2 CD's. 4. I have been a metal DJ in bars and on radio for 5 years. Letting people DJ that walk off the street and want to do it just for the free beer that was the payment for being the DJ, is usually not going to turn out well. 5. I have been living, eating and breathing metal for 17 years now. Lew doesn't even like music and pretending to be metal is good enough for him. 6. I am not Lew As far as the "dorks" walking out of the bar as soon as some good metal goes on, I had a bar full of them on Tuesday and I had them dancing to it :) Just have to execute it the right way and play the right song. There is always away to spread the word of metal. Of course I did have to put on some lame stuff in between, but like I said I have to play to who is in there. More metal heads = real metal being played. evilkleg, I am not sure of the all of the details just yet of how the bands are going to be done. This is going to getting going in Sept. I will be doing most of the booking for the shows, it will depend on the line up either I will pick the line up or the bands will.
