| metalqueen User Info... | Just want to get some info if anyone heard or saw anything wed. night outside of Logans pub.My friend was smashed in the head with a beer bottle from behind leaving Logans pub then spray painted all over with white paint...all over his face and arms...he was found unconsious on Balmoral st.He woke up in the hospital and has no clue on what happened...he ended up with 8 staples in his head and cuts and bruises on his body.The fucked thing is....whomever did this didnt take his wallet or cash...which he had alot of money on him.So was this something to do for fun?...He only had 5 beers and was pretty much sober and didnt even really talk to anyone there. - Sat, 7 Jul 2007 6:45pm | ||

| beazlbub User Info... | there must be some coward that lives in the area because a friend of mine got suckerd in that area recently and ended up with a broken jaw ,poor guy had his jaw wired shut for some time thanks to this idiot . as im sure you know logans has a security camera outside and i bet some of the other surrounding establishments have similar cameras due to the high rate of crime in the area ,it could be the same person who attacked your friend - Sun, 8 Jul 2007 12:10pm | ||

So, why isn't there anyone working the door as the people leave?!? The good thing, at least your friend woke up in hospital. | Logan's User Info... | Just so everyone knows - there were a lot of strangers in the bar that night because of the soccer game. Not that I know for sure, but from what the cops were saying I got the impression they were looking for drunk jock/hooligan types. Not our normal crowd. And metalqueen - very sorry to hear about your friend. The cops wouldn't tell me anything - is he all right? Should mention - this is Chris Logan writing. But the cops are trying to investigate this problem.He did come from the soccer game that night but isnt your typical jock.He wasnt drunk at all.I would keep your eyes open for peeps with white spray paint though.Im not sure if you know my buddy Kevin there Lance but thats who got the beating.Shitty deal but he is ok. - Mon, 9 Jul 2007 12:47pm | ||
| Chris Logan User Info... | Oh no, I didn't think your buddy was a jock yahoo - the impression I got from the cops was that the perpetrators were that sort. Some of the crowd we've gotten from the World Cup thing has been, at least superficially, of the soccer hooligan variety. I'm glad your friend's okay. | sideshow User Info... | I'm the guy who got smashed in the head the guys who did it(3 of them) were buggin me for money out front of the bar they were between 17 and 25 yrs of age they left but later came back again and as I was leavin they spotted me and jumped me the beer bottle they hit me with did not come from within the bar as it still has the cap on it but may have come from the offsales next door anyone know anything let me know thx - Tue, 10 Jul 2007 7:06pm | ||
