Someone finally came out with my idea for chopper-style mountain bike, but I would of made the front tire smaller, and stretched out the frame a bit more. - Wed, 20 Jun 2007 11:31am

It's only a mountain bike if you can use it offroad. No bloody way in hell is that anything more than a street bike. Take that offroad and say goodbye to the front fork. - Wed, 20 Jun 2007 12:46pm

I dunno, it should be able to be taken off road since it should be able to cushion stuff with front and back shocks, and I think it's only 1 speed, at least the Schwinn bike is. Methinks someone just built one of them, still it answers a lot of questions I had. (yes, you can puchase those rims from a company out of California, and I think you can also purchase the trees from a California company as well). I've seen similar bikes around Victoria, I think one is GT made. - Wed, 20 Jun 2007 12:49pm Edited: Wed, 20 Jun 2007 12:51pm

Sorry dude, but those bikes are the stupidest things I've ever seen! Strictly for showing off how much money you're willing to spend on a non-functional item. - Wed, 20 Jun 2007 12:58pm

With the ammount of rake on that front fork, you'd snap the forks easily, even with the shocks. Looks like it has a suicide style shifter as well. Whether it's for looks is beyond me. Either way, no way in hell would I take that offroad. - Wed, 20 Jun 2007 12:59pm

yeah thats stupid. I think this is for kids not quite old enough to get their license who are way too into the Discovery Channels new programming....and possibly hip hop. I'm with Chopper thats a no go for the off road. I'd buy a good mountain bike instead. - Wed, 20 Jun 2007 2:36pm
