Livevic Scott User Info... | Funny story about Pete's ... ya know that kid who won that Uvic cancer lotto a few months back? He's the guy that books for Pete's! Rumor has it, home to the largest mug of ale this side of Winnipeg! Can I answer your next question and give you the number to The Generator too?? =) - Thu, 20 Feb 2003 3:53pm
Ian McG User Info... | Hey Scott, Kid?..Benefit?..Lotto? I' m lost..I have no clue who that is, course I wasn' t here a few months ago, so that' s probably why ;) So what is the number for the generator....hehe, not too sure where that is, I' m new to all this. - Thu, 20 Feb 2003 5:55pm
Livevic Scott User Info... | Oh there was this Lotto to raise money to find a cure for cancer. And the kid who won it went to Uvic, and his job he worked on the side was booking at Pete's. You won a house, 25g, and a facney car. Soc's his name. The Generator is the rock club in Prince George (however AA shows are the best in P'giddy). I figured thats what you'd be askin for next since your last 2 posts were for the Liquid Lounge in Edmonton and Pete's in Jasper... hehe I figured you were just heading though the northern loop =) - Fri, 21 Feb 2003 4:44am
Ian McG User Info... | Yes, we' ll be skipping the picturesque town of PG this time round, we' re sort of doing the southern loop through the interior than up to Jasper over to Alberta, and through to Winterpeg. - Fri, 21 Feb 2003 3:01pm
Livevic Scott User Info... | Cool ... good luck! I expect a posted tour diary when ya get back =) - Fri, 21 Feb 2003 3:10pm
Matt D. User Info... | Pete's club rocks!!! I don't know many other places you can get a gallon of beer (for 20 bones, no less). I worked in Jasper for about 5 months and blew way too much money at that bar. There's a funny story about the Dayglos playing in Jasper. It was an outdoor skatepark benefit, cops broke it up at ten (pm) and Gymbo got dragged off the stage and detained for what was apparently "disturbing the peace" or some shit. Of course Pete's was the meeting place later on. Good times. - Fri, 21 Feb 2003 4:09pm
Ian McG User Info... | Yes I' ve heard various stories about the Dayglos there. Ahh...good times. Well I' m looking forward to playing there now. - Fri, 21 Feb 2003 4:36pm
