dan conner User Info... | Hey, I got a guitar a while ago, and I have been playin, and now, I need a mic. So, I have a few hardware q's about mics... Sory, I know like nothing about em... Thats why I ask questions :D Can they be plugged into the regular input jack of my amp (2 input jacks)? If yes, if it is in the same amp as my guitar, while playing heavily distorted, would that faulk up the mic? Should I buy a seperate amp for my mic? Does it need a special jack or other crap? Any other info that would help a moron? Dan Conner - Tue, 18 Feb 2003 1:05pm
Ian McG User Info... | It all depends on what kind of amp you have, but generally you can' t have a clean channel and distorted channel on at the same time, so yes you would need to get another amp for your mic. Mics will plug into any input in an amp, but generally it' s best to get a low impedance adapter for it, again it all depends on what kind of mic you' ve got. Hope this helps somewhat. - Tue, 18 Feb 2003 1:10pm
