Great Canadian Casino SUCKS!!! Not only did they get rid of many of the Quarter slots, now it's bill only. WHAT THE FUCK?!? Jeez, I worry about this, some people can't control there gambling and this is a great way for the casino to make WAY MORE money from unfortunates. God, that place makes me sick! I refuse to spend any money there, so I decided to keep my money and head home (and send them some E-Mail). Why do I get worked up over this?!? I dunno. - Tue, 17 Apr 2007 4:43pm Edited: Tue, 17 Apr 2007 4:44pm

No, I didn't lose any money, actually I've only lost once (about $100, most of that I lost feeding the machine bills), at least in Las Vegas they have nickle/dime and quarter slots, and a higher percentage of winning (97% as opposed to 74% you get at the View Royal casino). Someone should protest that, it's no wonder we don't have the same problem like they do on the eastcoast with slot machines and fixed income suckers. - Tue, 17 Apr 2007 8:47pm Edited: Tue, 17 Apr 2007 10:24pm

Dude, next time ask the attendant where the nickel machines were moved to. Shit I think there are still even two cent machines there. You obviously headed for the buck or more machines. - Tue, 17 Apr 2007 11:47pm

Well actually they still have nickle and quarter machines, cept now if you win it spits out a slip with your credit on it so you then go to the cashier and she/he/it pays you, hence no sound of quarter payouts. There excuse, coins are dirty, my question, perhaps they should clean the coins more often?!? - Wed, 18 Apr 2007 11:35am

Don't bother with machines anyways. Gambling is retarded unless you do something that requires skill. Try a card game, see what happens. The better you get, the less money you lose. - Wed, 18 Apr 2007 12:24pm

I make bets all the time with my friends for fun. Just low wager stuff like $5. Most of the time they try to welch (sp?). For instance, my friend bet me $5 that our mutual friend would never travel Europe. He said he'd pay me when she was on her way to the airport, not before. She flew to Greece yesterday. Now my friend says he never made that bet. That's why the wagers are low...
As for the casino, I used to live very close and the last time I lost $60 in 5 min on roulette. I can't afford that kind of lose so I don't go at all anymore. I do have a system that works pretty good for roulette though and I'd be happy to teach it to you as long as we use your money! - Wed, 18 Apr 2007 1:07pm

Phil, how can you clean the coins going into a machine the same day they get paid out? The cashier slip is hardly an inconvience. You'd still have to take your booty in coins to the cage to get changed into bills anyways. A lot of those little old people prefer the little slips because it's easlier to haul around. Except when they lose them!! Oh do the sparks fly then!!
But ya, get into poker with some buddies. Way better. - Wed, 18 Apr 2007 1:07pm

You forget that a huge part of our population are seniors and they make a huge portion of the customers at the casino. So it makes sence that the casino caters to their needs a little, doesn't it? - Wed, 18 Apr 2007 1:18pm Edited: Wed, 18 Apr 2007 1:18pm

I've got a system that never fails .... I got me one of those free B.C. Gold cards for the casino. Every so often I recieve coupons either in the mail or on-line for slot play. I give them ten bucks ... they give me back twenty. I then go back out the front doors ten bucks up .... mind you, the government kinda gets that $10.00 back at the liquor store when I buy a six pack of beer with my "free" money. But hey .... free beer ... I win!! - Thu, 19 Apr 2007 8:51am

Casinos are funny and ingenious inventions. Some suckers actually believe they'll strike it rich everytime they play a hand or plug a machine.
If someone loses all their money at the casino and their life gets ruined, I will be there laughing at them and kicking them in the pants as they crawl down the street in tears.
People need to learn to control their addictions. It can be done, but you have to want to do it.
Plus, quarters, nickels and dimes are a waste of time. Nothing less than a loonie will give you that rush of adrenaline. - Sat, 21 Apr 2007 12:53pm Edited: Sat, 21 Apr 2007 12:57pm
