| Mace User Info... | I've got 2 of his books, I've read two/thirds of the way through 'East Van', since I bought it over year ago- the book sucks, the entire story is lame, there is too much reality to that story... I hope he gets sued for writing this crap!! The other one I own is 'Booze Can', and I heard the story is funny and the characters are supposed to be pretty funny and cool.. I hear he's got some decent 'other crap' out there though, I think, I'll skip the rest of 'East Van' and read into 'Booze Can' - Mon, 26 Mar 2007 4:36pm | ||
| Ty Stranglehold User Info... | Why would he get sued for wrinting East Van? The book was great... What's wrong with reality in writing? Booze Can is pretty damn good too. Based on a lot of true stories I'm told as well. The trilogy of autobiographys are good too. | Mace User Info... | I don't think what you're thinking it is, you're saying, 'Constitutes it' in East Van. The book lists' an exact name, 'Conrad Black', (I don't have the book in front of me.. *media baron) Character Libel? I think that Chris Walter has about as much chance being sued by me as he would or might be sued by 'Lord Conrad Black'. Actually, my version of events is backwards. (That I was the one that ran into them and not them who had run into me.- There really could be people that seriously hyper-spastically pissed off at me on this site, because they believe everything I write.. Most of which is truth, or loosely based truth, prose into fiction.. THat this thread isn't about me, as a writer, I wish I was able bodied and intent on writing, instead, my girlfriend hates anything to do with me writing anything, at this moment. She is crying.)
