Meters Cover Band....?

| mactac User Info... | ok, 2 things: 1. what does everyone think of this idea, and would you go see it? 2. anyone into this? would need: 1-2 guitars, minimal vocals, the 2nd coming of zigaboo modeliste optionally a keys player The material is already written & they are fairly simple but groove like nobody's business.... the idea would be to play every couple or few months, so hopefully the time investment would be small (because like everyone else I have little or no free time) maybe not exclusively meters tunes, but it's a place to start out. thoughts....? - Tue, 6 Mar 2007 3:27pm Edited: Tue, 6 Mar 2007 3:28pm | ||

| lonemonk User Info... | Ya fuck, I love the meters above all. I just couldn't commit the time it would take me to get all my funk back (And then a whole lot more on top of that!) I totally agree with mactac; in my opinion the Meters are on top as an instrumental act. The Neville voices are nice, but it's that backbone slippin' rhythm that fucking rules.
