Zippgunn User Info... | What a drag; Jeremy was my roommate for awhile in the early eighties and we had a lot of good times together. Hadn't seen him in awhile but will always remember his quick wit and his unique sense of fashion and style (truly one of a kind). My heartfelt condolences to his family, especially his bro Tim and all his friends here in Vic. Any details on the service? - Wed, 14 Feb 2007 4:30pm
Laprider User Info... | When I was real young ( grade 6?) I made good friends with a new immagrant from England, his older brother was Simon Ainsworth who I'm guessing was pretty much the first "real" punker in Vic. I remeber by Grade 8 at Oak Bay of all places the older guys like Simon and Jeremy always hanging out looking totally outrageous. Fun times Jeremy always stayed true to the scene, he came to near evreyone of my Rockabilly bands shows in Van. He also was a fellow scenic Carpenter in the Film union. Sad news! - Wed, 14 Feb 2007 5:48pm

alcoholly User Info... | wow there can't be 2 Simon Ainsworths from Victoria. I was in grade 8 and 9 at Oak Bay with a Simon Ainsworth in 1976-1978ish (yes I am as old as dirt). He was a little twirp then, but cool. Codolences to Jeremy's family and friends. I didn't actually meet him but I saw him around a lot. - Thu, 15 Feb 2007 11:55am Edited: Thu, 15 Feb 2007 11:57am
Inhalien User Info... | Jeremy used to drop by our practice spot in the early to mid-eighties and hang out with us and other bands. The building was torn down but used to be right across from Paradon on Bay street, near the Bay street bridge. Couple other bands used to practice there. Anyone remember it? - Thu, 15 Feb 2007 12:38pm
Chris Logan User Info... | Wow, what a drag. Hadn't seen him in years. Great sense of humor. First Jay Brown, now this. Fucking world. - Thu, 15 Feb 2007 2:15pm
Rawb User Info... | Inhalien: I remember that space! For the nano-second I was in Mission Of Christ that's where they practiced. Also, Red Tide were residents there. I have some of my fondest memories of any practice space I've ever been in of that place and it aint even there anymore... Good thoughts to Jeremy and his family--He was one of a kind. It's been a strange month. I feel far closer to the people I've grown up with in the punk scene than the people I went to high school with so these losses are hitting home. - Thu, 15 Feb 2007 5:03pm

After the service we are going on Jeremy's last cruise - out to Western Speedway in our rides for a last lap for Jer. His wake follows at 3:30 pm at the Esquimalt Legion at 622 Admirals Road. Finally, there is a family and friends get-together at Urge Tattoos at 7:30. I have known Jeremy since I was 17. We were both driving 1958 Chevs at the time. I still have mine. We all miss Jeremy so much. It is so hard to believe he's gone. Thanks for all of your kind words. Diana - Mon, 19 Feb 2007 1:58pm Edited: Mon, 19 Feb 2007 11:09pm
