Anyone know of a REALLY GOOD guitar teacher in Vic here?
I am not looking for someone who is only willing to spend half an hour at a time, at least an hour.
I have been playing for like 10 years off and on and can't decide if I just don't have the skills or if I just need lessons. I've never taken lessons so I am pretty much self inflicted I guess.....anyone out there know of anyone really good? Oh yeah I play acoustic. - Tue, 3 Oct 2006 9:46pm

Hey.

Find Rob Cheramy. He's a jazz guitarist, but he can play and will teach anything and everything. The only thing is, he does half hour lessons. - Tue, 3 Oct 2006 11:05pm

Thanks to both of you and yah umm Mace you have too much time on your hands perhaps you should digest something more your level such as some nice barnyard porn buddy.
That'll keep your hands (and whatever brain cells you can manage to muster) busy.
Thanks to the others.
I love you Mace, your my hero

Oh yeah, Tom H do you know how to find or where to find Rob Cheramy? - Wed, 4 Oct 2006 8:28am Edited: Wed, 4 Oct 2006 8:38am

If you are looking to learn acoustic-blues, slide-blues, fingerstyle blues etc.. find Mr. Tom Davis. He is the only blues teacher worth talking about. - Wed, 4 Oct 2006 10:24am

btw- it's spelled 'you're', not 'your'.

{See Ex.-}
Like Mofo, think about that ('at the end of YOUR fingertips') while 'you're,' 'at your,' guitar lessons. - Wed, 4 Oct 2006 11:18am

depending on what you want to learn Rob CHeramy is a great teacher (jazz/comping... funk etc.), I took lessons from a guy named Pat Fabrick(sp?) anyhow, im pretty sure hes not around but if your looking for someone to teach you, he's a really really good teacher. He used to teach at the same place as Rob Cheramy at the guitar studio, on johnson?

good luck on yer search - Wed, 4 Oct 2006 3:04pm
