mactac User Info... | Looking for someone to do web-based quality control work (meaning you need web access to do it, it's not web site work or design). - Must be able to work at home on own computer - hours are flexible - MUST have good self-discipline - Must be dependable - pays by the piece, usually ends up being $10-$20/hr depending on how quick you are. if you are interested, shoot me an email (and resume if you have one) to paul (at) wagorn.com - Mon, 2 Oct 2006 1:42pm Edited: Mon, 2 Oct 2006 4:55pm

mactac User Info... | ok, heres the info: The work involves reading posts to our service (they are buy/sell offers & requests for quote, etc) & determining the business category (out of around 1000 categories) that it belongs in. Some are approved & some are deleted - that's where the QC comes in. We have a few people doing this already, but there is more work that people right now, so we need further help. Basically, you would review these posts (ie delete or approve), categorize the approved ones, and do some *very* basic quality control on them. We pay 14 cents per *approved* item, so if you can do 100 in an hour, you'd be making $14/hr. Some people make more, (ie $20+/hr) - it just depends on how quickly you can read something & determine what category to put it in. While you are just getting started, things usually go very slowly because you are still learning categories, etc so we pay a minimum $10/hr in the beginning if you don’t do enough work to make at least $10/hr just so are making some money. After a week or 2 & they have learned the categories properly, most people easily surpass this. The nice thing about the job is that it's very flexible as far as work hours go. As long as the work is getting done, it doesn't matter when during the day (or night) it's done. it does require some self-discipline, but it's the perfect type of thing for someone with some extra time who wants to earn an extra bit of money... it's not really difficult work, and it can be a bit interesting. - Thu, 5 Oct 2006 3:30pm Edited: Thu, 5 Oct 2006 3:31pm
