Aqua teen hunger force? (have you seen this? a milkshake... a box of fries and a meatball??)
Far Coast? Fuck puppets are scary...
Spong BOb Square Pants? geez... like do i need to say more? This show is FUCKED...
Invader Zim? twisted...

All i can say is i am glad i had normal ones to grow up with....
heman... shera... the simpsons... transformers... carebares and rainbowbrite...

just a rant...

Good luck going without a reply on a messageboard.
A.T.H.F., along with Harvey Birdman, Brak, and Space Ghost Coast to Coast (the last one coming out ten years ago) are definitely twisted as shit. They're also the funniest animated shit (along with Family Guy) around, unless someone else thinks otherwise......
Does anyone remember a cartoon called "The Mighty Heroes"?. It was Ralph Bakshi's first thing, came out in '68. I was four years old, and it's one of my earliest memories, watching these goofy superheroes doing their zany shit. For the last 38 years I've never seen it re-aired on tv. - Wed, 27 Sep 2006 6:19pm Edited: Wed, 27 Sep 2006 6:34pm

children's shows have always been messed up. I think this is a good thing and is what propels our sense of creativity and interest in the weird things in life. I wish I had grown up with Lazytown though, that show is amazing. - Wed, 27 Sep 2006 6:53pm

I don't think any cartoons are as fucked up as day time talk shows. Kids who grow up with moms who have that shit on TV all day long are the ones who're gonna get warped. - Wed, 27 Sep 2006 7:29pm

I'm talking only Newspapers here, and you can quote me on this:

There has been no comic worthwhile since Calvin and Hobbes!

To be fair, ATHF and Invader Zim aren't intended for kids.

It'd be like somebody watching Fritz the Cat back in the day and thinking the kids would grow up weird watching the crazy bullshit they make these days, unlike the perfectly reasonalbe Merry Melodies stuff they grew up on. - Thu, 28 Sep 2006 1:49am

oblongs is back on friday nights on tbs, along with the short-lived bill oakley/josh weinstein-created 'mission hill.' i happen to love brak, harvey birdman, et al. definitely agree that kids who grow up watching maury, springer, or judge judy are was more likely to grow up twisted than kids who catch the odd episode of spongebob.
