Apparently you decided to stop viewing the last post so I shall copy and past it to here.

So Mr. Frazer Johnson I take it you listen to punk to be cool? We listen to ska because we like it. I'd say in the last few years punk has gone through quite the same "revival" with all these Blink 182, Sum41 bands. By no means does all the punk being released sound like that. Along with all the crap some good ska has/and is still being released (same can be said for punk). - Thu, 23 Jan 2003 3:06am

Gare, please don't call Blink 182 and Sum 41 punk bands. It's shitty pop bands trying to be "ooooh so dangerous".

Oh, I don't hate ska either. - Thu, 23 Jan 2003 3:41am

Why is it that you think I listen to punk to be cool? The fact that I quoted propagandhi I think shows that it's doubtful I would listen to bands like Blink-182 or Sum 41. People who are into punk to be cool generally do not know who propagandhi is even. I listen to punk because I think it's good music. I don't listen to ska because I don't like it. End of story. None of it compares to Johnny Cash anyway. - Fri, 24 Jan 2003 1:51am

I was unaware that I was defending myself. Were there any personal attacks against me? My name is Gare not Ska. Plus the whole point of the post was to get people to look at the website and it worked. Dane I'd come if I was in Victoria but I am in Calgary til the summer (I might come visit in April). Plus if you knew who I was you'd know I make a jackass outta myself quite often and its no big deal - Fri, 24 Jan 2003 6:37pm

Mr Johnson I was just commenting on the quote you used. And I yes I do think the kids who listen to sum 41 know who propagandhi are or at least know the words to "ska sucks". I listen to punk and many other styles. I really couldn't give two shits if other people like ska or not.As I said before the topic was just to gain attention - Fri, 24 Jan 2003 6:51pm
wronskian if you like ska/reggae, then go see the operators when they play here next month. their music is highly enjoyable. - Fri, 24 Jan 2003 7:02pm

I would doubt if a large percentage of blink or sum 41 fans listen to Propagandhi. Maybe I'm wrong, but even though Propagandhi is poppy (at least their early stuff is kinda poppy) punk it's very different in that it's actually punk rock, and it gets no radio play. - Sat, 25 Jan 2003 2:40am
