| lonemonk User Info... | My guess is they wanted to avoid the controversy of having Stern on the Canadian version upon go-live. I think they'll probably add it at some point. I'm not entirely up to speed on how subscriber radio differs from open-air, so I'm not sure if the CRTC will also be able to block him coming for various obscenity reasons. He's free to say what he wants on Sirius in the states, sooo... (Sometimes the FCC is just as bitchy as CRTC) He's ok. | Eh_Yot User Info... | I've had sirius radio for about 7 months now and all I did to trick it is put down a USA address and that's really all you have to do....I know people who have used the playboy mansions address...I just used an address from a porn production company and mine works just fine. That's the easiest way to get past the frickin crtc thats going to regulate the sirius radio canada users. I dont know what the price difference is from the canadian sirius to the USA sirius but mine was $157. for one years subscription...in US funds about $200. | _Griphin_ User Info... | He's only got George for a week. I did not know that George Takei was a homosexual. Paying for something when I already have a large music collection? Survey says, NO!!! Plus the reception for the portable radio gets blocked, I hate it when I listen to FM radio and it stalls. Honestly, I might buy one of those Memory Stick MP3 players, this way I can stick it in the front of my computer and I can load up music that way (my walkman didn't get stolen this time and lasted more then a year). BTW: There thinking about running ads (6 per hour) on Stern's radio show. See he's too old school (they use commercials to do stuff, and Howard doesn't play music), plus I can listen to his show for free cause I download shows from the newsgroups. - Tue, 10 Jan 2006 5:47pm | ||
