Someone told me that one of the guys has the tape I'm looking for, cept I dunno how to contact them (I'm also looking for any Mission of Christ I'm missing, but that's another story). Appreciate it, thanks! Victoria Demo Restoration project, 7 years and falling as of January 1st, 2006. digging up those memories and sounds that need to be heard a second time!!! - Sat, 24 Dec 2005 10:18pm

rickylong User Info... | Griph.you come over to my house. I will hand you a tape. You go directly home convert it to your computer. then come directly back to my house with the tape. All in a one night! If you can obide by this you can have the tape. I only have one copy and to loose it means death to your geek ass. The tape contains Live at Harpos, and that MOC house rehearsal, developmental songs. The two tapes you already have are the best sounding. There was no other MOC demos except the ones you have. - Sun, 1 Jan 2006 5:54pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Ah, so you've heard the copy I made for Willy? There's actually 2 copies floating around, the one I dropped off at Ross Bay's is too hissy, so I cleaned it up as best as the software could and made 2 copies for Willy Jak and Ira. Yeah, I need to improve the sound to totally get rid of the tape hiss. But when I was looking on Google for some strange reason I found someone that has the following: Armoros-Unreleased Studio Tracks Armoros-RehCan Armoros-Rat's Nest, Victoria, Can (SB) 11/07/1987 Armoros-Rat's Nest, Victoria, BC (SB) 14/08/1987 Armoros-Victoria,Can 23/10/1987 Armoros-World Community Theater, Tacoma,WA 05/12/1987 Armoros-Harpo's, Victoria, BC (SB) 01/02/1988 Armoros-Live (SB) Can 19/04/1988 Armoros-World Community Theater, Tacoma,WA 23/04/1988 Armoros-Soda, Vancouver BC, Can (SB) 08/08/1988 Armoros-Victoria, BC (DVD) Can 13/01/1989 Armoros-Natasha's, Bremerton, WA 17/03/1989 Armoros-Club Soda, Vancouver, Can 28/08/1989 Armoros-Demo 1 "Debut Assault" Armoros-Demo 2 "Ressurecdead" Armoros-Demo 3 "Remember Michelle" Armoros-Unr. CD "Pieces" His website addy: http://members.chello.nl/p.soppe/index.html So yeah, I'm interested how he managed to get SB (Soundboard) recordings. Regarding the tape, if your that freaked about it, I'll give ya a blank tape (and a few dollars) so you can make me a copy of your tape, and I'll even give ya a copy on CD once it's dubbed and cleaned. :) - Sun, 1 Jan 2006 6:05pm
rickylong User Info... | Wow. Armoros are well documented! They had a manager named (Blake Mckenzie?). There was alot of hoopla in that time about making it big as did many metal bands of that era did. I'm sure the SB recordings where something that where aquired after every show. I remeber seeing them back then and they did rock. Heck they had Jed Simon! Griph, I have no tape duplicating device. But still i do think you should get in touch with Steve McBean at the Black Mountain website. He might be able to help you with your MOC request and give you premission to give his music out for free. Have you ever got in touch with the guys from the old CFUV radio show Overkill. They might have some interesting stuff. I think the demo project you do is good. - Sun, 1 Jan 2006 7:51pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Yes, it's funny cause (if I can remember) Jed Simon used to apparently brag in high school that he would eventually be in a well known band. And yes, he's Jed Simon, cool I know someone as well known as he is. No tape duplicating service?!? YIKES!!! Steve McBean sounds familiar, and I haven't contacted anyone from CFUV, actually I originally contacted them about backing up tapes in their library, and converting them to CD, but I was talking to the "then" Station Manager and I guess he never took me seriously, cause he never contacted me and I could never get in touch with him. Funny thing about the demo projekt, anyone could do the same thing as I do, you just need a computer faster then a P-166, a tape deck and a sound card to record live audio. Oops and a RCA cable. Simple, really. - Sun, 1 Jan 2006 9:10pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | BTW: I've listened to Silence in Grave like 4 times today, wow other then the tape recording sounds horrible, that demo is addictive!!! - Wed, 4 Jan 2006 1:24pm
