Mr. Hell User Info... | I rarely buy soup. I'm a sushi/burger/Pesto Pizza kinda guy. I bought some of this Campbell's Chunky Soup from Wal-Mart...Steak and Potato with Mushroom. I'm expecting some sort of amazing hearty meal that'll be chock full of beef and tender potatoes and succulent mushrooms. Instead, I get some leftover McDonald's poutine powdered gravy ass leakings that make the almost cooked potatoes have a bit of flavour. It is supplemented by three hunks of beef and a few mushrooms. I think this other can will be going to the food bank or through the local Campbell's Rep's window. Hey Campbell's! Go fuck yourselves! - Mon, 21 Nov 2005 4:54pm
T. User Info... | I live off the clam chowder its actually quite good. - Mon, 21 Nov 2005 5:42pm
Mr. Hell User Info... | I have a can of the Seafood Chowder. I've tried that before, but once again, I was buried in potatoes. Lay off the fucking pommes de terrible, for fuck's sake. - Mon, 21 Nov 2005 6:24pm
The Wolf User Info... | Watch out Wal-Mart might be able to track you throwing that can of soup soon enough!. Quote" The world's largest company has given Campbell and the rest of its 100 largest suppliers until January 2005 to track their products using tiny pieces of circuitry that contain identification codes and can be scanned by radio waves at any time" http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_zdbln/is_200312/ai_ziff114622 - Mon, 21 Nov 2005 10:38pm

User User Info... | Serves you right for shopping at wally world. The Chunky there probably has less meat than the stuff at Thrifty's. I don't know if this is true, but I heard some products at walmart aren't as the good as the exact same model # other stores, because they were specifically made for walmart and to make it cheaper than the other stores can sell it for they cut corners on materials. Might be BS, but it wouldn't suprise me. - Sun, 27 Nov 2005 12:48am
alcoholly User Info... | any soup that's "vegetable" has a funny "vegetable" taste that doesn't taste like any vegetable I've ever eaten. Chunky Soup has had a hard time making anything that actually tastes good. Lately they have branched out and got more "gourmet". I would rather avoid it, but in a pinch the split pea and ham is alright, if you like that sort of thing. - Sun, 27 Nov 2005 5:42am
Mr. Hell User Info... | Mushed pea goo just doesn't do it for me. Wal-Mart will soon own your Mom. They have cheap, disposable socks, so they have my business for the time being. Awesome soup, Ward! Thanks again. You gotta become Victoria's Soup Nazi...oops. Hope Nik Olaz doesn't see this. - Mon, 28 Nov 2005 6:19pm
Ward Ensemble User Info... | Sheesh! More accusations? - Tue, 29 Nov 2005 12:10pm
Tyler User Info... | I like the soup. - Thu, 1 Dec 2005 3:06am
kayleigh User Info... | Campbells has never done me any wrong, the minestrone is delicious. I'd watch out for anything having "meat" in it though, those mass produced foods will try to cut the costs wherever they can, a la Mcdonalds I daresay. - Thu, 1 Dec 2005 10:58pm
D V S User Info... | Why do people continue to support Wal-Mart? Don’t worry about the USA invading Canada, watch out for Wal-Mart. shop in Canadian stores! Zellers and the Hudson Bay Company may sell out to Target, do to the fact that Canadians would rather make an American company rich than support a 300 year old Canadian company. I banned wall-0shit-mart two years ago and I can say there is no way in hell I will ever go back there. They don’t have one product that I can’t find anywhere else. Spend money in your own community and you will prosper. - Fri, 2 Dec 2005 1:09pm
Mr. Hell User Info... | Why do people support Wal-Mart? Well, I don't think it's a matter of loyalty so much as lower prices...and over time those 50 cent per product savings do add up. I could give a fuck about Wal-Mart really. They are a corporation and are faceless. I hope they get robbed in the highest degree. However, I do hate Zellers with good reason {unjustly fired long ago/false accusations of shoplifting on a different occasion}. So Zellers can rot in a fecal hell pit. Does anyone wonder why so many Canadians do go to Wal-Mart to shop? The must be a reason, if not a bunch of them. I agree fully with the support local business philosophy. When possible, I certainly try to do so for independent merchants. Anyway, this thread is about Campbell's Soup Company being a bunch of potato whores, not another boring Wal-Mart bashing. Carry on. - Fri, 2 Dec 2005 2:43pm
ROSS B AY User Info... | Hell, what does your cats' breath smell like then? Let me hear it....come on........ - Fri, 2 Dec 2005 3:19pm
Johnny Grass User Info... | They shop at walmart for the selection. It's not any cheaper than zellers. But they have more shit. I can't go in there because there are so many fucked up inbreds and retards that I can't handle it. I think they should change the name to "White Trash MArt" cuz that is all I ever see in that shithole. They should also fire the pointless "greeter" and hire some fucking cashiers. What the fuck is up with that? - Sat, 3 Dec 2005 12:35am
Mr. Hell User Info... | I dunno, but not once has a greeter said hello to me or even looked at me sideways. Goddammit!! That's it. They are forever out of my life. Them and Campbell's Chunky. I still dig the original Chicken Noodle festival of starch, though. My cat's breath smells like Aaron Clark's ball sweat...whatever that would smell like. Nothing nicer than a sandpaper tongue ball massage, eh Clark? - Sat, 3 Dec 2005 5:16pm
Ward Ensemble User Info... | Mr.Hell, please take into account that quite a few people of significantly less dimension than yourself probably look at the floor rather than into your eyes, especially if oyu look grumpy. (not that you ever look grumpy) - Mon, 12 Dec 2005 5:19pm
