| Metropol Steve User Info... | We have two openings at Metropol for two new positions we are creating this fall. Successful applicants will have a working knowledge of live music and events in Victoria and have a clear understanding of what we do. Position 1: We need a student at UVIC to handle a new UVIC and Camosun postering system we will implement a.s.a.p. This position involves a weekly pick-up of materials at our downtown office and a few hours of postering and maintence on campus weekly. This position requires a good knowledge of both campuses. Would make a great part-time job for a student who would like to enjoy the benefits of working for Metropol. Position 2: We are expanding our instore postering service outside of the downtown core and require someone with a bicycle for rougly 10 hours a week (to start) of instore postering in outlying areas such as James Bay, Cook St. Village, Quadra Village, Oak Bay, Esquilmalt, etc. This position requires a reasonable knowledge of Victoria's communities and good communication skills. The successful candidate will be trained on our core postering system to cover shifts. This weekly hours for this position will increase based on the success of the person filling it. Both of these positions need to be filled a.s.a.p. Metropol is an equal opportunity employer and pays a good hourly wage. The company is 2.5 years old and is growing quickly.
