matt t User Info... | Yo. Let me be the first to spread the gospel of the coming of the scumdogs of the universe. By some weird stroke of luck I checked out gwar.net today. Well it was updated today. Gwar is fucking playing the commodore in vancouver on sunday, october 27th. Tickets should be about 32.50, after taxes and fees and all that usual bullshit, tickets will come to a nice, clean $40. They decided to fucking go on a three month tour rather than the initial 3 week eastern tour. So yeah this is the best news ive fucking had in awhile. http://www.gwar.net So yeah, im so there. BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD - Thu, 26 Sep 2002 7:00pm
more truth | aside from the fact that they have somewhat cool costumes, gwar is the worst thing i've every heard. that last time i dropped of a dime bag at the trailer park there was this white trash kid wearing a gwar shirt, wish i had a camera.i was fuckin clasic. - Thu, 26 Sep 2002 8:42pm
Anonymous | Hmmmmmmmm..... Only 2 shows booked in western canada. http://www.gwar.net/events/tourdates.php?gwarsid=8cc86ee4f9df843300bf010b11e78044 I wonder if anything has changed with customs as its not like they have cancelled at the last minute before because of that. Might be another waste of a trip over. I wonder if metal blade will answer inquiries. - Fri, 27 Sep 2002 2:22am
matt t User Info... | when i went to dave brockie experiance (oderus, balsac, and jizmak) dave talked to me and a couple friends about the whole border bullshit. haha dave was born in ontario and moved to the states at the age of four, hes a "resident alien" and has no problems coming over. the only problem they have is the drummer (jizmak) had a dui when he was younger, and all the problems coming over the border were because of that. tons of paperwork, bullshit at customs, sometimes being turned away cause of it, etc made it suck to come over or some shit. plus in 1993 when gwar played montreal some fucks stole all their gear and that made them want to come to canada less. dave and mike said they had no problems coming over the border at all for the cobalt show at all, so I doubt some decade old dui charge will keep them out of canada. i personally think its worth it, ive never fuckin seen gwar live before, and 40 bucks isnt really unreasonable. going to be a fucking awesome show yo. - Fri, 27 Sep 2002 10:32am
