| we're all gonna be american one day.. | don't forget that the US actually did a large part of the work in providing Iraq with chemical weapons and arms for the war with Iran that Iraq *had* to win at all costs. At one point, Iraq was using chemical weapons on Iranians and their own people almost daily. The US doesn't want to threaten Korea, they are feeling threatened enough as it is. Any more unwanted attention to the fact that Koreans don't want US troops in Korea anymore will likely cause foreign investors to pull out, and then Korea will be feeling a little rough. Nah...the US government has been using fear as their primary tool of statecraft for a long long time...they're pretty good at it now. - Wed, 8 Jan 2003 2:24pm | ||
