matteus User Info... | With all the video media up on the website now, I look at this tool and wonder how it can be used more, and an idea came to me. When I walk downtown, looking at the posters in the downtown core, I can’t deny that I have not heard many of these bands on the posters. Perhaps I am out of touch as a “common joe”. Then it hit me. What if people could see clips of these bands performing online? The logic is simple: see the product before you by it. Do you believe that this would be helping or hindering to productions and the scene? - Tue, 10 May 2005 12:05am
Nat User Info... | I think it's a decent idea. But audio clips would be better, after all, people go for the music not the look of the band. It's a pretty safe bet that if they sound tight they put on a tight show. I noticed a lot of bands dont even have audio samples on their website...if you dont give anyone even one clip their bound to think your band isn't great sounding....and the "audio coming soon" doesn't do a damn thing. - Tue, 10 May 2005 9:23am
The One After Two User Info... | hahahaha "after all, people go for the music not the look of the band." hahahahahaha - Tue, 10 May 2005 2:29pm
Nat User Info... | It's true! Unless, of course, they happen to be wearing very tight pants... - Tue, 10 May 2005 3:32pm
Kickback User Info... | The music is important, but if the band is boring to watch live whats the point of going? As for Video helping or hinding it will do both. It'll squash bands that either suck or dont have video. Bands that do have it will probably see little change unless they are exceptionally good. - Tue, 10 May 2005 7:15pm
