Metropol Steve User Info... | I'm looking to find a group called "Loud Live" who systematically destroyed several poster poles last night. If you know these people, please have them contact me. Metropol Steve 384-POLE - Sat, 7 May 2005 11:33am

Metropol Steve User Info... | By "destroyed several poster poles", I meant that they cut down all the posters and left them all over the street. Not terribly unusual, as we deal with this every morning from drunk people leaving the bar the night before. It just devalues the work we put into making the poles clean, funtional and accessable. The reason I wanted to speak to these people is that a friend saw them doing it and confronted them. They claimed their actions were a direct attack on Metropol. I just wanted to know why. Quite often, someone gets upset with us for some reason on another and deal with it by destroying poles, which is stupid because the posters are not ours - they belong to our clients and they're the ones who suffer. I'll be the first to admit that the system we employ is not perfect, but you'd be hard pressed to find someone who is involved in the industry who feels the situation is worse now than it was two years ago. If you have a concern about postering, or want to discuss the manner in which we do our business, I would encourage you to call me and discuss it. Please don't freak out on my employees and please don't rip down posters. I think I am a reasonable person and I'm sure we can work out whatever problems arise by talking about it. Thanks Metropol Steve 384-POLE - Mon, 16 May 2005 11:04am
