| Wig User Info... | so what do you do with jam spot room mates that always fuck with your stuff. like using our cabnets with out asking, taking our cables and not asking or even putting back. moving our gear around to provide them selves more space yet they already 50% of the space. unplugging our gear to use the plugs on our side of the room even though they have plenty of plugs on there side. now they are moving out at the end of the month so there not much to say, and i have mentioned a couple things to them and they just played dumb. since they moved in they have shown nothing but disrespect. what would you do with inmature people like this? - Mon, 7 Mar 2005 12:44pm | ||

| Mr. Hell User Info... | Well, that would explain some problems we had in our spot a while back. The other band I'm playing in right now is looking for a spot, but jams sporadically. I tried to email you, but the message was returned undeliverable. Anyway, they are looking to spend a little less than the rates you advertised, but have very little gear {one guitar half stack, a P.A. and a four piece drum kit}. I grew up with brothers so I have a very "whats mine is yours" attitude that sometimes I need to check :-) Just explain that your shit is where its at for a reason... Plugs for electricty? Not a big deal. Using your cables is, b/c they wear out and cost $. Maybe they're new so just break it down for them. Basically you have to rent to people you know and trust...years ago I walked into my meatlocker to see a guy using my boogie Mk4 not a big deal except it was a friends from London, meaning european power meaning I had to replace the output transformer....the same band stole my china type and some nice pearl hardware! I ended up seeing the guy in a bar years later and relieving him of the contents of his wallet. | Wig User Info... | Hey laprider would love to have you, i know you but you probably don't know me. i bought a few things from you when you had your store on johnson. with the present mates there wasn't much of our say, our former mates wanted to leave and provided us with a replacement, at the time it seemed to easy to say yes with out checking them out. we did have another place to go and were going to leave last month but after i talked to the dude who had the other spot he admitted he'ed been smoking to much crack latley, learn my lessons about people like that already. he may be a cool guy today but he might hawk your amp tomorow and lie about. - Mon, 7 Mar 2005 5:09pm | ||

| Wig User Info... | didn't say it was you , in fact i don't know who it was really. just some funny shit going on, might be ghosts? when i should up last Saturday and noticed that someone had used my 35year old Marshall cabinet i was pissed. The little shit that happened before that wasn't ever worth bring up until this happened. I know Mark allowed Nate to use his cabinet 'once', but when mark found out nate wasn't in the band anymore and someone else was helping them selves to his cabinet he wasn't very happy. i'm sure no damage was done, but that fact that some is using your stuff with out asking isn't very nice. If you guys weren't leaving i would have showed up the next time you practiced to freak out, but come Monday i had calmed down. so i started this thread as a way of venting, just hear what others had to say. i tried to keep it anonymous and not blame anyone publicly.
