_Griphin_ User Info... | So I wonder if Logan's sells Coffee or anything non-alcoholized. - Tue, 22 Feb 2005 10:17am
jay brown User Info... | Of course they do phil, use your head for a sec, they have to sell pop and juices because they need mix for the hard liqour.... and almost every bar sells coffee... - Tue, 22 Feb 2005 11:12am
ROSS B AY User Info... | Try the Ranier special. There's no alcohol in that. - Tue, 22 Feb 2005 3:12pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Not every bar sells coffee. I know I've asked Lucky Bar if they sold coffee and they said no. I figured Logans sold coffee cause of the kitchen. Rainier special?!? - Tue, 22 Feb 2005 4:34pm
ROSS B AY User Info... | yeah. you know....beer? - Tue, 22 Feb 2005 4:46pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Like d'uh! Now I get the joke :) - Tue, 22 Feb 2005 5:56pm
lonemonk User Info... | Logans does sell coffee, but sometimes when they run out later in the evening it doesn't get started up again. - Tue, 22 Feb 2005 6:07pm
Chris Logan User Info... | I drink about five hundred cups of coffee a day there, especially since I've been laying off the sauce. It's not fantastic, but it's fine for bar coffee. - Tue, 22 Feb 2005 11:12pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Laying off the sauce?!? Yikes!!! Well I had to quit drinking due to medical injuries, but how come you had to? - Wed, 23 Feb 2005 9:07am
ROSS B AY User Info... | He works at a bar, man. - Wed, 23 Feb 2005 9:22am
_Griphin_ User Info... | And?!? - Wed, 23 Feb 2005 1:27pm
lonemonk User Info... | It means all too easy access to more booze than you can conceive of. I love the old Running Scared line: (While they contemplate starting a beach-bar) "Hell, we'd drink enough to make ourselves rich" In reality this plan doesn't work so good. - Wed, 23 Feb 2005 2:44pm
Chris Logan User Info... | "Well I had to quit drinking due to medical injuries, but how come you had to?" Pregnant wife. Working in a bar, much like playing in a band, IS a free ticket to alcoholism if you choose to take that trip. - Wed, 23 Feb 2005 4:36pm
ROSS B AY User Info... | Are you hiring right now? heeheehoo.... - Wed, 23 Feb 2005 4:44pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | I hear ya! - Wed, 23 Feb 2005 6:08pm
dumpstermesh User Info... | It's good this was brought up cuz I was going to start a little 'ol threadaroo asking about the options/costs of non-alcoholic drinks. It's funny, I decide to cut down the booze big and then I get a job at a liquor store. I haven't drank since I started a few weeks ago!! I went on a cleanse during that time too so I don't think it would feel very good to drink anymore. However, my bf plays in a band (soon two) and he's very pleased about the new job. It's the first job I'm allowed to bring home with me:) But ya, back to the question: I'm new to this at bars do bottles of water really cost $3? I don't really drink pop or coffee but I like to come see bands (sometimes). I don't suppose anybody has green tea? Long shot? Thought so. - Wed, 23 Feb 2005 7:16pm
ROSS B AY User Info... | Bring your own Red Bull. Nectar of the gods. - Wed, 23 Feb 2005 7:51pm
dumpstermesh User Info... | If only I did those quanities of caffine:) - Wed, 23 Feb 2005 7:59pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Strange, I thought Logan's sold Red Bull. - Wed, 23 Feb 2005 9:00pm
Chris Logan User Info... | Our non-booze options are a litlle limited - coffee, pop, juice, and near beer. Actually, I guess that's not that limited. We do give water out for free, but you have to pour it yourself. Would people buy Red Bull in the bar? We sell it in the liquor store, but we could start it in the bar, too. It's be pretty obvious right now if you sneaked a can in. - Wed, 23 Feb 2005 9:28pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Do you allow people to buy it in the CB&W store and bring it with them to Logans? I actually thought you guys mixed Vodka with Red Bull. But wait a sec, do you guys sell the Asian or Canadian Red Bull? - Wed, 23 Feb 2005 9:47pm
Chris Logan User Info... | The Beer Store sells the Asian Red Bull, which we could easily stock in the bar. Generally we frown on people bringing their own drinks, whether alcoholic or not, into the bar: that damned capitalism thing again. - Thu, 24 Feb 2005 12:37pm
cacklovah User Info... | i'm glad to hear Logan's offers free water. it sucks when you don't wanna drink and pay a high cover to get into a club that offers cheap drink specials, shaking a hot booty on the dance floor can work up a thirst. same when going to a gig. when i did my serving it right course we are taught to to offer a round of water if a customer apperars to be getting loaded, when highballs are $2.50 why would a drunken mind see the logic in paying $3 fer a bottle of water. no tip for me! pisses me off when you can't get it free, bars make enough money slinging crap beer out of dirty taps. - Thu, 24 Feb 2005 1:58pm
sam User Info... | I don't drink anymore and usually get free pop when I go to see a show - I guess it's assumed I'm a dd. - Thu, 24 Feb 2005 2:22pm
Chris Logan User Info... | "pisses me off when you can't get it free, bars make enough money slinging crap beer out of dirty taps" Really? Which ones? - Thu, 24 Feb 2005 4:30pm
Livevic Scott User Info... | Everyone should come tonight for free water, GOOD beer, and some killer hardcore!! And of course the ever popular and always aptly named shot of the day (if you cats are still doing that, I THINK you are however I haven't looked at the board in a while) =) - Thu, 24 Feb 2005 5:39pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | I noticed there's huge differences between Asian and North American redbull, including the taste. I think if your gonna sell Red Bull for alcohol, you should stock the stuff in the silver and blue can. Free water is awesome!!! Pity more places don't do that. - Thu, 24 Feb 2005 6:05pm
