mactac User Info... | Did you pay $20 to enter this? or was your music selected? Read here: http://www.orange-records.com/notice.htm - Wed, 16 Feb 2005 1:47pm
Uzer User Info... | Holy shit, you must be psychic. I just posted about this same issue, wondering who else submitted music to those guys. I guess my post didn't go through or something, I saw your post and thought it was mine. What a coincidence. :o - Wed, 16 Feb 2005 1:51pm
lonemonk User Info... | According to their (hopelessly out of date) website they had to go through 850 submissions for that CD, so @$20 ea this works out to $17K. Of course if one never intends on making the CD, you don't really have to listen to all 850, or any at all...... The entire http://www.channeleau.com website is evidence of cheap programming and the unfulfilled dreams of Vincent F. Evans. . . - Wed, 16 Feb 2005 3:24pm

Uzer User Info... | Hmmm, out of 850 submissions, nobody else here fell prey to the false promises of Channel "0" Communications? Bump... - Thu, 24 Feb 2005 12:26pm
Vegas J User Info... | Compilation "scams" or at least "pay for review" type things have been going on for decades..and no I'm not saying anything specifically relating to THIS one...but in general..these kind of things are best avoided period. Compilations with a pile of unknowns wind up in most peoples garbage or at Value Village / Sally Ann. Programmers at radio could care less unless it has a recognizable label behind it and only your friends/family would ever pony up the dough if it ever did see the light of day. Best to do your own website with downloadable free sample (incomplete) MP3s or for sale via paypal or WHY for a buck. Just IMHO. Cheers! - Mon, 28 Feb 2005 1:41pm
