| SickFuk User Info... |  I went through a puddle on Lansdowne a couple of hours ago.. turns out it was about a foot deep, and consequently, parts of my engine that shouldn't get wet... got wet...FUCK!!!! Anyone know a good mechanic... or maybe what might be wrong? Ever since, it's been chugging a bit, then my engine light comes on, and my car won't stay running... | Wig User Info... | ml7mike that is a very good guess. the cap comes off with either two(three) screws that turn half way to release or two clips. spray the inside of the cap with WD40 and wipe clean do the same with the rotor and the othe parts still atached to the motor. - Thu, 20 Jan 2005 11:47am | ||

| Wig User Info... | "someone else suggested I managed to get water in my Carberator, which would account for the chugging..." the water in the carb should get cleared out after it runs for a bit. also unless you submerged the whole car or you don't have an air filter not much would get in to the carb. take the air cleaner off and make sure there is no water in it. the chugging would be caused if it's not getting a good spark (wet distributor)it doesn't take much to make the distributor wet. - Thu, 20 Jan 2005 2:45pm | ||
