The Life Aquatic was good, but I expected better and actually like Meet The Fockers more... bizarre but a true E Hollywood story.

hmmm... rented Bourne Supremecy... pretty good.
Watched Garden State AGAIN... not as good the second time but my girl would disagree she loved it AGAIN.

King Arthur, different twist on the same old... long but it had Kiera Knightly (the pretty from Pirates of the Carribean).

oh... saw The Grey Zone... holocaust movie... it was graphic but it starred Steve Buschimi and David Arquette and a bunch of other sorta big actors. If you can handle dark depressing true stories then I would recomend. - Thu, 6 Jan 2005 9:04pm

Um, Kevin Costner isn't in Snow Walker. The main character is played by a good ol Canadian boy, Barry Pepper.

In case some of you are unfamiliar with the stanford experiment, it would be what Das Experiment was based on.

code46 - aimless plot, really really slow, and semi-bizarre
door in the floor - classic. it's john irving! jeff bridges, will i ever tire of him?
u2 rattle and hum - so so so good. before the starfuckery.
rear window - probably the best hitchcock ever; with grace kelly!
napolean dynamite - as folks have already said... genius. build her a cake.
maria full of grace - again, slow, not as depressing as everyone said it would be.

and probably some others in the past while...
i don't know if any of those were -good-, but someone would probably like them. - Fri, 7 Jan 2005 12:39pm

But the best thing I've seen lately was "Saw"... People kept telling me before I saw Saw, that when you see Saw, it will seem better than Silence of the Lambs... wrong!... but still a good flick, lotsa weird twists in it... Honestly my all time fav would be Silence of the Lambs...

The last movies I watched were,

Harold and kumar (lots of scenes about smoking pot, other than that average at best)

Anchorman (will Farrell always funny, but this movie is quite boring. They could have pushed the edge but they didn’t go there)

Dodgeball (very funny)

Shawn of the dead (possibly the best zombie film ever. fuck it! It is the best zombie film ever)

I robot (the worst film will smith has ever done, not that he does any good ones)

Napoleon Dynamite (Handfull of funny scenes all shown in the commercials, you’ve seen the whole movie in the commercials now you pay to see the boring shit in-between. funny but not worth the hype. It’s funny how MTV promotes there own productions MTV has told you this is the funniest movie every and you believe them.

Chronicles of Riddick (possibly one of the stupidest movies ever, great special effects including the sound of the spaceships not sure what the point of the movie is)

Other top ranking movies in my book:

Comedies:
How High
Old School
Office space
Clerks

Horror:
95% of horror movie suck but there is a couple worth the watch
Texas chain saw massacre (new or old)
Can’t think of any others

Action:
Black hawk down
Hidalgo
Ronin
Lord of the rings extended version (12 hours of hobbit mischief)

Drama/other
Blow
Almost famous
25th hour
casino
city of ghosts
the count of monte cristo
full metal jacket
fight club
goodfellas
life of david gale
boogie nights
magnolia
shawshank redemption
traffic
trainspotting
spun
requiem for a dream

Drama/chick flics (you have to know a few in case you have to pick up the movie)
Chasing amy
Cold Mountain (yes I call this a chick flic)
Great expectations
Lost in translation
Tomb raider (you might be able to sneak this one in, I find just as many girls like her as guys)
