| Mica User Info... |  There are a lot of draft dodgers who moved to the Nelson area back in the Sixties and Seventies and apparently a group of them are planning to put up a monument to commemorate themselves. This monumnent is going to be put on private land so the township has no jurisdiction over it - not that the City would be likely to do anything about it anyway. So, word of this somehow got out and a email was sent to City Hall from a fine American and my friend got a copy from his friend in City Hall. He sent it to me and I thought I'd share it with all of you because it really is good for a laugh. Here it is: From: "Susan Hartman" To: Sent: Friday, September 10, 2004 4:46 PM Subject: Comment on Your City from an American I heard in an e-mail from the American VFW that you worthless Canadian bastards are putting up a monument in Nelson to the vermin who fled the draft. I am joining in the boycott of Canadian products and writing President Bush to put tarrifs on your lumber when he gets re-elected, which he will. My blood is boiling. If you Canadian piss-ant bastards want to be hated you have accomplished that end. Please don't visit the United States and we hope you all GO TO HELL!
