So who from here checked out that car show by the Empress today?!? What a fuckin' trip! There's about a dozen people locally building these things, I am impressed. I even got to meet Vic Eidelbrock (he's the guy who builds engines). If i had known Steve Moal was there, I would of loved to of meet him. Apparently there were between 300-500 cars down there. My landlord took a ton of photos, so I'll post a few whenever I get the CD.

Here's what the Q's events page says...

On July 25th Victoria will be treated to one of the best cars shows ever staged!

In the car world, the who's who of the industry will be in town - including a lot of the car builders featured on the popular Rides program on the Learning Channel! Names such as Roy Brizio, Steve Moal, Chuck DeHeras and Vic Edelbrock will be in attendance - with a convoy of 44 cars leaving from Roy Brizio's shop in San Francisco, heading for Victoria.

With entries from Hawaii, New York, Texas, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, Ontario, Alberta and BC, it is expected that up to 300 pre 1952 collector cars and trucks will be on display. There will be a variety of restored, modified, and original models, with all of the vehicles displayed around the whole inner harbour and in front of the Legislative Buildings.

The public is welcome to come and enjoy the cars free of charge! For a donation of their choice they will be able to vote on their favourite car and have a chance a winning a gorgeous gift basket.

So, head on down to the Inner Harbour and take a look at hundreds of beautiful collector vehicles! 100.3 The Q! is very proud to support Northwest Deuce Day!
