melissa User Info... | im moving to victoria for photography school in september. as it turns out, my to-be-housemates are unreliable jerks and havent done much work to find us a place to live when i get back from vacation. it's impossible for me to hop on a plane right now to go look around myself so im trying via the internet. its been really fun so far. if anyone could tell me which suburbs would be reasonably cheap to live in but not too dodgy, and close to 755a queens ave(preferably less then 40 minutes away), that would be great! thanks heaps! mel - Mon, 19 Jul 2004 2:07am
Nocturna User Info... | Actually Queens itself is dodgier than any suburb. :) I would suggest searching the University of Victoria and Camosun College web sites for housing. They seem to have the majority of affordable rentals. Also our major rag newspaper, The Times Colonist has it's listings online. http://housing.uvic.ca/offcampus/search.htm http://www.myidealhome.com/ccss/ http://classifieds.canada.com/victoria/ Cheers. - Mon, 19 Jul 2004 7:21am
Bryn User Info... | A place in Fernwood or Quadra Village area would be a good choice. Western Academy is an awesome school! Good luck with it! - Mon, 19 Jul 2004 10:18am
