Dd[]Sanger User Info... | You can get this raid shit that works awesome, when I used it it was this pink gel in what looked like a little bottle of visine, you go up near the suspected nest, or where u see lots of em, put down a dab, its time delay poison and they think its soo sweet theyll try and feed it to the queen, get a few of those drops picked up by workers and nest is dead in days.. They got the shit for ants to, which also worked like a charm. - Sun, 18 Jul 2004 2:47pm
Adrenaline Animal User Info... | or if you don't want to use chemicals, grind up some cloves and put them in a brown paper bags, then hang the bags around, the wasps mistake the bags for hives and the smell of the cloves also keeps the wasps away. nice and eco friendly - Sun, 18 Jul 2004 3:14pm

The Wolf User Info... | Try hanging a "Bounce" sheet (Fabric Softener) ideally under your umbrella on your deck...Wasps seem to hate the fragrance - Mon, 19 Jul 2004 12:11am
mcecill User Info... | Like Adrenaline Animal said, I've heard that filling brown paper bags with air and hanging them around your deck or wherever you have the problem works really well. They think they are hives. It's like getting rid of wasps... with mind bullets! - Mon, 19 Jul 2004 3:55pm
snuh User Info... | Okay, I've got a REALLY bad red ant/sugar and problem in my yard, so's I see this post and pick up some of the pink crap.....I've almost become insane walking around my property laying this shit down. The red ants are going crazy for it. They pile on top of one another, side by side, almost symetrical. I think I've put in a good hour today watching them. Incredible how they operate. I tell my daughter that I'm giving the ants 'lunch'. I've put far too much time into this already....oh well, gotta go, it's dinner time. - Mon, 19 Jul 2004 4:56pm
Criss Crass User Info... | I can't shake the fuckers they're all over me. I shower and they are still there. Help! - Mon, 19 Jul 2004 5:33pm

_Griphin_ User Info... | Once again, I'm having a hell of a time with ants too, this year they've mutated into the flying variety. Yeah ants are strange, they like to climb the computer chair and then sit their and look over my shoulder (shit you not). BTW: If you are having a wasp issue in your apartment, I found that contact cleaner (the spray can variety) works well for killing them. - Tue, 20 Jul 2004 1:25pm
ML7Mike User Info... | Hairspray and a lighter can be fun, but after lighting my hands on fire a few times, now I just sic my dog on them.. - Tue, 20 Jul 2004 1:30pm
Sandor User Info... | I shit you not, use WD40...the fine hairs on wasps get all bunged up by the goo and they just fall down dead from the fumes. Then flick matches at them...good times! - Tue, 20 Jul 2004 2:18pm
Gman User Info... | You know, the pests that bother me most are people werd G - Tue, 20 Jul 2004 3:40pm
Nocturna User Info... | Cruel but effective wasp trap...cut off the top 1/3 of a 2L pop bottle, snugly invert the top third into the bottle creating a funnel into the bottle. Put a little sweet liquid into the bottom...pop, juice etc. It draws the wee beasties in, but they can't climb out again. Works extremely well, especially when camping and you're inundated with the nasty critters. - Tue, 20 Jul 2004 5:13pm
Mi*coll* User Info... | yes, i've heard of this brown-paper-bag-disguised-as-a-hive technique also. it was in the globe today, and apparently my grandma tried it and it works (kind of)! - Thu, 22 Jul 2004 12:13am
techno/rave,stuff,industrial,other different music User Info... | Little bastards KILL EM ALL. they have no reason to live except too die, they have multiple stings, thats why I like honey bees, they sting you and there is no chance of excape, they die! could be worse, try Manitoba this time of year, its like listening to too much techno. - Sun, 15 Aug 2004 12:05am
techno/rave,stuff,industrial,other different music User Info... | does sound wrong to any of you? When I was a kid, I used to catch flys and put them in the automatice pencil sharpener, in Christian School. The I would come home, catch Wasps, and Flys, then pin their wings too the kitchen counter, then I proceded to electrocute then using a plug with the wires cut. I attached a pin onto the end of each wire, and stuck the pins inside the insects, touching the pins together inside the fly or wasp, etc... thus blowing up the poor little things, Am I going hell? Or is God going to forgive me for my ruthless ways, what do you think? - Sun, 15 Aug 2004 12:10am
techno/rave,stuff,industrial,other different music User Info... | I appolagise for my speellllingg, - Sun, 15 Aug 2004 12:17am
techno/rave,stuff,industrial,other different music User Info... | Anyhow enough rambling, what you gotta do is get wasp/ hornet killer spray, I hear what happens is the little fuckers bring the stuff back too the nest, feed it to the queen by mistake, once that bitch is dead, the rest of em abanddon the nest, or else if you find the nest, a tiger torch works great - Sun, 15 Aug 2004 12:19am
Troutbreath User Info... | Hey there techno/rave,stuff,industrial,other different music: Wasps are a natural control for Tent Catapillars and other pests. Do away with too many wasps and the tent catapillars come back and destroy the trees. Christian Schools never seem to teach very much about the natural world. And no hell is purely a state of mind and GOD doesn't exist. Niether does the tooth fairy. - Sun, 15 Aug 2004 12:59pm
tilleywhacker User Info... | last time i had a nest in my yard (u have to make sure that it is the kind that hang in trees not the kind that are underground) and sprayed em wit the hose till the nest fell down ( i did this at night) and wait for the birds to finish em off, if its the underground type jus wait till dark when they all asleep and fill the hole with wter then cover the hole with something like uhh a lid or saran wrap( o and when the nest falls outa the tree make sure it breaks apart so the birds can get em - Sat, 21 Aug 2004 11:39am
HIV Iceberg User Info... | WANT TO KEEP YOUR HOUSE PEST-FREE? HERE'S A PRO-TIP: SEAL YOUR WINDOWS AND PLACE A WASP'S/HORNET'S NEST -INSIDE- YOUR HOME NEXT TIME YOU PLAN ON BEING AWAY FOR A WEEK OR TWO. THEY WILL ERADICATE ALL THE COMPETITION, ACT AS AN EFFECTIVE "SECURITY SYSTEM" FOR THE INSECURE, AND DROP DEAD FROM HUNGER AND FRUSTRATION BEFORE YOU RETURN. - Sun, 22 Aug 2004 9:27am
Demen Ted User Info... | When I was 12 and my brother was 8, we had a big ant hill in our backyard... Went into the shed, got out the camping fuel, and the matches, and starteda bonfire. It still didnt kill them. No good at all! Wasps have never really bothered me... But I want to punch people when I see them jump and scream at the site of a 3/4" little bug. But yeah, this isa pretty bad summer for wasps, I hear if you are callin in an exterminator, the wait could be over a week or something... Hmmm, they must be bringin in good money this year. "Or that brown gravy for the BC ferries fries. " Jesus christ, I just went to Chilliwack and came back yesterday (for Football, Woohoo, won 14-0, I'm playin full back/ right guard) and had some of that ass goo with my fucking dinner. It is fucking revolting. It must be designed to make your throat burn, I can still taste it :( Dan Conner P.S. Tilleywhacker, that is a lie and you know it. - Sun, 22 Aug 2004 9:49am

Broccoli User Info... | Just ignore the little cock-stingers. If you don't freakout or have any rotting food on your person, you won't get stung. - Sun, 29 Aug 2004 7:54pm
old friend User Info... | Raid makes this aeresol spray that kills wasps good. You can stand 6-8 feet away from the nest and spray it down and watch the wasps die. Do it at night. I just had to do this to a big nest that was hanging above my front door. I didn't think it was a big deal until I got stung three times in the back of the neck, which sucked. I felt kinda bad about destroying the wasps entire colony, but, such is life. I used the dead wasps (after taking apart the nest) to make a macaroni jesus, except with wasps of course. - Thu, 9 Sep 2004 7:31am
