I'm not in Sidney, but I was still at work downtown and I have about 12 corporate computer network sites throughout the peninsula and at precisely 4:15 all hell broke loose; power was dropping and shit was hitting the fan. Sidney, Hartland Landfill, Langford, View royal, I could feel it coming electronically as it were. Then, about 45 minutes later in the downtown, the same ominous clouds and wind rolled in and I thought I was gonna be stressed out all fuckin weekend. Then it was over. I've seen that shit happen in Ontario many times, and usually there is a tornado or a thunderstorm that happens as a result, but I'll take whatever luck I can get this weekend.... Pheeeww! The last thing I needed was a few all-nighters to brighten up my 'off-time'! In addition, the weather was so odd that it affected all the downtown crowds like a full-moon and a simultaneous eclipse might do.
