Curmudgeon Rocker User Info... | The cheapest option we could find was from Stormdisc - $1080.00 plus gst for 500 4-panel jewel cases. We don't expect to move more than........oh......30 units? Any suggestions would be very appreciated. - Mon, 31 May 2010 6:11pm Edited: Mon, 31 May 2010 6:13pm
Aidan Logins User Info... | [email protected] I run Orveas Bay Publishing, a local CD and DVD manufacturing company. I'll give you a special deal (ridiculously cheap) because I'm trying to build a more diverse printing portfolio right now. Email me with some more details about your project and I'll let you know what I have in mind. - Mon, 31 May 2010 9:48pm
superslacks User Info... | Depending on how you plan to 'move' them, jewel cases are a bitch to mail for both weight and fracturing. And I'm finding more and more people don't really dig them. If you can find cheaper packaging options (Digi-pack, etc) you can sometimes save money on both ends. - Mon, 31 May 2010 10:05pm
Metropol Steve User Info... | Over at Metropol we are getting into doing short-run CD duplication. We've got a full digital print shop and a graphic design department as well. We're not looking to step on anyone's toes, so give Aidan at Orveas Bay a holler first because se seems like a good guy. If you'd like another quote, [email protected] P.S. We now do weatherproof stickers in a bunch of different sizes and shapes. Holla! - Mon, 31 May 2010 11:10pm
Jl User Info... | discmasters.com were good; though shipping is a bitch lol we had good success with the final product from them. - Wed, 2 Jun 2010 10:33am
thegooddoctor User Info... | http://www.indiepool.com/smrt/. this is pay per piece. looks like a good deal. We never went for it only for the reason of them being CD-R. as opposed to glass master. - Wed, 2 Jun 2010 1:21pm
Aidan Logins User Info... | I'd advise people thinking about indie pool's smrt pay-per-piece thing to get the free sample first, if they still offer it, to make sure it's what they want. I got one a few months ago. Opened the package. Everything looked alright, but the plastic broke (in quarters, completely unusable) the first time I tried to take out the CD. I don't know if it was a defective unit or what, but needless to say I didn't order any more to find out. There are other pay-per-piece set ups offered by places like Reverb Nation if anyone's thinking of going that direction. - Wed, 2 Jun 2010 7:06pm
Storm Musician Services User Info... | I don't want to step on anyone's toes either, but since STORM was mentioned at the beginning I just wanted to throw this out there as well... we can also supply short run CDs in both cardboard sleeve or digipaks for you guys that need these smaller quantities. Get in touch if you need any more information. - Thu, 3 Jun 2010 7:28am
